Nick resides in London but DJ's and travels the world over. His style of DJing is super diverse but his roots firmly planted in electronica. Originally from the north of England he began spinning records in the early 90's. His eclectic love for music comes from his childhood, his father was a drummer so naturally he was always drawn to beats. Obsessed with everything from Rock to Soul, Disco to House and anything in between he firmly believes there are only two types of music, "good and bad". The right track can move any dance floor or emotion no matter what genre! Nick constantly uploads his mixes to Soundcloud as believes these are sound capsules caught in time and its important to constantly evolve and push new music. An avid collector of vinyl and all formats of music fuel his obsession. Nick can play everything from a downtempo Balearic set to pitched up House and Disco and can shift tempo's seamlessly throughout his sets.

With the arrival of winter, Les Urbaines emerges in Lausanne, Renens, and Chavannes, inviting visitors to celebrate artistic shifts and experimentations, in free admission. During a weekend of performances, live acts, dj sets, workshops, and a week of exhibition, the festival tends to voices, approaches and manners of doing that are at once, poetic and critical, and outlines new perspectives in the visual, sound, and performance arts - as well as everything in between and beyond. Around forty propositions will unfold in different venues during the diurnal and nocturnal hours, in the spirit of sharing experiences, emotions, reflections, and (re)questionings.
