I've already posted a piece from Jurassic Park on here, but it was a piano-oriented arrangement that was a bit of a mess looking back. 

But that's OK, because now, due to software upgrades, I am able to fully orchestrate the Theme From Jurassic Park in my room at home. 

I used EWQL Symphonic Orchestra for all the sounds, and Logic Pro X as the DAW. I tried to get my recording to sound like Williams's original as closely as possible... and my recording isn't perfect. But I'm just glad to be done with it. Lots of work on this one. 

Nevertheless, enjoy this recording of my favorite movie theme ever!

Gandalf and the Balrog fell into the deep subterranean lake under Moria. Gandalf pursued the Balrog for eight days until they climbed to the peak of Zirakzigil. Here they fought for two days and nights. In the end, the Balrog was cast down and broke the mountainside with its fall. Gandalf himself died during this ordeal, and his body lay on the peak while his spirit travelled "out of thought and time".

Gandalf was "sent back" as Gandalf the White, continue his mission as guardians for Fellowship of the Ring
