Helios - An Audio-Visual Performance Film 


There’s something timeless about the marriage of music and images, with no dialogue. Following in the inspiring footsteps of films such as "Baraka", "Atlas Dei" and "Ashes & Snow", for the last decade Nick Klimenko (aka Chronos) has been carefully curating and combining unique footage in preparation for a similar project. Now at last the results can be seen as video-clips, photos, computer graphics, dance performances and live acts are all woven together to accompany the wonderful ambient music from Altar Record’s "Helios" album ( altar.bandcamp.com/album/helios-24bits ) - reworked & remastered into a stunning cinematic experience. 


Get ready to immerse yourself in the beauty of nature, intriguing dance forms, ethnic cultures, hypnotic sand drawings, the far reaches of deep space and the miracles of modern technology -in a world that is our own, and yet far, far removed from the rush and chaos of everyday life. 


Ten specially selected artists -unique in their talents- were chosen to team up and work on this project to create six complementary chapters. Themes range from the timelessness of Earth’s cultures and beauty, to the stark brilliance of outer space and beyond; from ancient mystic rituals from days gone by, to the primal forces of nature that continue to awe; and from spiritual practice and faith, to universal human feelings of love and devotion. 


This engaging yet relaxing film is a gift, lovingly crafted and offered to the world at large via the internet, featuring the creative talents of the Chronos Project team and their ten years of outstanding artistic output. 


The movie is available for viewing directly on Youtube ( www.youtube.com/watch?v=CYBzdCrC7RA ). As a bonus you’ll be getting the free digital release of "Music from Helios Film" in its entirety on Bandcamp (in the format of your choice). The release contains new versions of the worldwide supported Helios album - remixed and rearranged with extra drums tracks, live vocals, cello and guitar, all done in a tastefully cinematic way.

Many years ago the Russian scientist Kardashev defined three levels of civilization, based on the amount of energy a civilization is able to utilize.

A Type 1 civilization is able to utilize the energy that reaches its planet from a neighboring star, a Type 2 civilization can harness the energy of the entire neighboring star and a Type 3 civilization controls energy on the scale of its entire host galaxy.

Humanity is not even Type 1 yet. Reaching Type 1 is our way to prosperity.

Scann-Tec - Marking Time

Four and a half years after the success of "Endless Horizons" on Altar Records Dhamika has returned with his 6th album, but
the very first self-released one and it will be considerd a milestone in his career.

Album titled "Point of No Return" is a slight faster album than the previous ones but still has that warm, melodic, atmospheric and psychedelic downtempo that we are familiar with.

Grains of Sound is the progressive psy-trance to downtempo psychill to beatless ambient project from brothers Chris (Exeris) & Jason Sevanick, - dance, chill, or zone, they have you covered. If that wasn't enough, the brothers gained notoriety with their industrial act, Mindless Faith.

In 2017, Grains of Sound performed, among other festivals, in The Chill Dome at Ozora, the renowned global gathering. Their latest release is an EP on their own AlterCulture Records called "The Dome" which features five psychill and one beatless psybient tracks and attempts to share the amazing ambient experience of The Dome.

In 2007, Grains of Sound released their double-disc debut album "Rays of Life", comprised of Vol. 1 Down (downtempo) and Vol. 2 Under (ambient), on AlterCulture Records. Their follow up triple-disc album "Sine Language" (2010) received even greater acclaim for their exploration of different styles and energy levels. From atmospheric progressive psy-trance, to lush soundscapes and deep downtempo beats, to vast evolving layers which leave all beats behind, pure ambient intoxication. 

In 2012 Pharmacy Music released "Eager Fingers" and "Paradigm Bag" which showcased the duo's beautifully rich soundscapes driven by a progressive psychedelic trance core. So in 2013, Pharmacy asked Grains of Sound to remix "Beyond the Limit" by John "00" Fleming and Christopher Lawrence.

Grains of Sound has also had tracks featured on various compilations including most recently on BMSS Records. Grains of Sound  continues to perform in the US and Europe, past festival bookings include: Ozora (Hungary), New Healing (Germany), Life Celebration (Croatia), Goa Dupa (Poland), Zagoa (Morocco), and Gaian Mind (US).
