Sunshine Lemonade began in NYC in 2005 when founding member, Thomas Wade Jackson met Tyler Mauney at the old Baggot Inn in New York's West Village. They quickly discovered that they had grown up 40 miles from each other, and immediately became best of friends. Thomas invited Tyler and his upright bass to join him and his singing partners Fran Correa, Erika Banks and Roy Ramsey for a gig on Staten Island and Sunshine Lemonade was born. 

Since then there have been many iterations of the band which have included Ian Weir, Artemis Dove, Arielle R. Sullivan, Trina Basu Ramamurthy, Pamelia Hamilton & Earl Lamacs. These days its Thomas, Ian and Tyler, who remain as Sunshine Lemonade’s core members.
