Musician,  Classical Pianist, Musical Director, Piano Teacher, Vocal Coach. Recording Engineer, Logic Pro fan. Trained at the Royal Academy of Music and then embarked on a career in music as a Concert Pianist and as Musical Director for many different hit musicals in Londons West End and on Broadway. I have taught masterclasses at the top music and drama colleges in the UK.

In April 2015, brothers Chris & Nick Johnson finally began working together and uploaded "Broken Hearts & Carpet Burns", a song written over a decade before, to BBC Introducing. The song was chosen for broadcast on Introducing H&W and they were honoured to be Artist of the Week less than a fortnight later. Chris and Nick recorded a live session for Introducing H&W at Colwall Family Music Festival in July 2015 and later that year were placed at No.6 in Andrew Marston's Top 10 of 2015/Hot For 2016 list in January 2016.

Whilst the pair have worked together in the past in Chris’ bands The Wash and Sperm Whale Eddie they hadn’t collaborated properly or written together for a specific project until then.

Nick was previously a member of the final line-up of Thunderclap Newman, alongside founding member Andy Newman and Mark Brzezicki (Big Country, Pete Townshend, The Cult) including their performance at the Isle of Wight Festival in 2012 and in January 2020 was a member of Mark’s band on his Drum Clinic tour.

Chris and Nick are currently finalising the expanded full band line-up and will be announcing live dates on this page in due course.

This is just a snap shot of Lloyd's songwriting abilities but it should give you an idea of his very obvious talents.

Lloyd is a diverse songwriter writing in many musical genres. Lloyd will write, for example, alternative rock anthems such as 'I Want A Tattoo' or 'Look Both Ways', then moments later write a massive pop track such as 'Stronger' followed by 'Perspective', an evocative and chilling acoustic tearjerker.

'Lovers Entwined' featuring 'Shellyann' was playlisted for over a month on BBC Radio Wales in 2018 and continues to receive spot plays in 2019.

'Don't Know What You Got Til It's Gone' by SONNY JIM is being played by many rock radio stations including Planet Rock Radio.

'Fast Forward Rewind' by 'BOLD AS LOVE' was picked up as part of BBC Introducing and played on BBC Radio Gloucestershire on 29/09/12.

Also, 'Showgirls' by 'BOLD AS LOVE' was played on BBC Radio Gloucestershire, opening the BBC Introducing Radio Show on 13/10/12.

A funk maverick from the far left of the leftfield, keytar-wielding activist Steve Cooke blends sharp-witted lyrics with sleazy funk, geeky electronica and spiky new wave.

Cheltenham based 'Brothers in Exile' represents the meeting of two musical minds. 

Scottish born, Stu Calder and Welsh born, Lloyd Jenkins first met in Cheltenham in 2004. They immediately connected due to their obvious passion for music and a mutual love for the Boss BE5. 

Stu and Lloyd briefly teamed up, playing in a local band, sharing the stage at local venues and recording a studio session together.

It was only a matter of time before these two forces to be reckoned with would reunite, pool resources and collaborate so watch this space.

Classic Rock magazine recently described 'Last Orders' as, "a cracker, boisterous and addictive with a Wildhearts-y-drive"
