It is an honor to announce the first release of the year from Granular Spectrum and a new release from the hand of Darkduction after a long time without making public appearances... this release comes prior to their participation in the acclaimed festival "Freedom Medellin" highlighting a bit of his versatility when it comes to producing, showing in this work 4 original tracks that cover 4 different musical styles but always marking his essence and style in each one of them.

Noises can be broken down into a superposition of pure sounds of different frequencies. The distribution of sound energy as a function of each of these frequencies defines the spectrum of noise frequencies.

Darkduction - Decompositions [GRNSPT015]

The seventh Various Artists release on Mary Yuzovskaya's Monday Off imprint arrives on vinyl in October 2024, with Viels, ORBE, D-Leria, and Yuzovskaya contributing tracks.

First up on the record, Italy's End Of Perception founder Viels conjures up a storm with 'Nero', a cerebral cut with crushing, low-end-heavy atmospheres and mysterious alien signals. It is followed by Spanish techno lynchpin and Orbe Records boss ORBE, whose hypnotic 'Rigging' explores the abyss with foreboding sonics and a continual beep sequence that guides the track forward.

On the B-side, Monday Off label head Mary Yuzovskaya presents 'Trouble'. A masterful bassline and bodied kickdrum starts the trip, providing an excellent foundation while alternating between rattling percussion, deep dub hits, and strangely familiar but indecipherable vocal snippets. Sound design wizard D-Leria then closes out the EP with the spellbinding 'Battito', complete with mind-blowing melodies and swirling effects, rounding off another top-draw psychedelic offering on Monday Off.

In the vast expanse of the new artificial age, where art becomes a spectacle of illusionary miracles, an extraordinary project is underway: Evod.

Evod is a superb artist, musician, composer, producer, DJ, and live performer, who combines cutting-edge sounds with ancient mastery. His own pieces are the heart of the tapestry for this episode's creation.

Subtle electric currents flow over the theme, carrying whispers of encouragement. These subliminal effects span through frequency raids, random bell melodies, granulated hi-hats, and confused samples of breaks, distinguishing the composition and reinforcing the unlimited artistic wisdom.

The episode is a wit incubator of unique mix gestures, where you will notice the field enclosing the structure, protecting it from the harsh vacuum outside. While the predictable aspects are impressive, the invisible elements truly set it apart.

He works genuinely to perform the art of instant realization. The value is not just to grant moves of matter, but to create pathways between dimensions, which are imbued with enchantment blends of sonic revitalization and movement re-invention. When you get closer, you feel how the glowing force is not just a barrier – it is alive with spiraling patterns that whisper the peace of the vault.

This set is a shining model of what is achieved embracing progress with harmony. The construction of a sound poem, multidisciplinary like no other, where versatility captures us, the impossible becomes possible, and where the essence is not lost within everyone's reach.

Alessandro Russo, known as Evod, is son of art and approached music at the age of 11 listening to Detroit Techno. Over the years he has played and published under various pseudonyms, but in 2015 he defined his artistic personality with a unique alias: Evod, the same name of his label.

He has released music on labels like Warm Up, Semantica, Float Records and Singular Records. In addition to performing at various clubs, he also made his debut at Tresor and Moog. 

His sets, primarily on vinyl, are notable for their robust and deep sounds, influenced by ambient elements. Alessandro’s artistic journey continues to evolve and captivate audiences to this day.

Soul Lazh is Blach's most ambitious project, a cornerstone of the Galician techno scene with over 20 years of experience behind the decks. After a pandemic-induced pause, Soul Lazh has been reinvented as a live act, the result of hard work and learning. His live performances are built around drum machines, synthesizers, effects pedals, and distortions, crafting dynamic and powerful techno packed with driving synthesized sequences, hypnotic melodies, and immersive atmospheres. While staying true to the old-school roots, Soul Lazh is set to revolutionize dance floors.

He’s taken his gear to the booths of Cassette Club (Madrid), Gare (Porto), Convivio Electrónico (Viana do Castelo), Galaxy Club (Oviedo), La Vaca Club (Ponferrada), Fanzine Fest (A Coruña), Bretema Festival (Moaña), Black Club (Santiago de Compostela), among others. In addition, he founded Purveyance Records, a label where he releases his own productions as well as those of like-minded artists. The label has already put out its first vinyl/digital release, with a second one on the way.

Nicolás Barrera A.K.A. “NBM” is a Chilean DJ and Producer, based in the city of Pucón, Chile, who is a resident of the renowned BlackSpot events cycle.

His beginnings in music were linked to hip-hop, mainly in freestyle, although he also recorded some tracks as an amateur. In 2017 he felt attracted to electronic music, mainly house, but after studying and learning more styles he decided to dedicate himself to techno.

His sound is characterized by hypnotic synthesizers and dense atmospheres, but without losing sight of the groove.

He recently founded his own record label called Anachronic Records.

We all need to heal, we all need to learn to release people, things and unhealthy attachments we keep in our lives or within ourselves. It is not easy when it comes to relationships, friendships, family and our own internal attachments related to our past experiences, but as soon as we realize that some of those emotional bonds are blocking our growth and well-being, we need to make the decision to let go.

For all those who are going through such an uneasy period in life, I have prepared a little meditative journey bringing the Peace from the faraway Worlds. This one is the very first one which is fully spiritually oriented and it evolves in slow 111 BPM. 

With every mix I have ever prepared I healed myself from different kind of bad energies, emotional pain and mental struggles, and this Hypnotherapy of mine is dedicated to release our negative attachments specifically.
