To build the groove of a night slowly and piece by piece is a commonplace ideal, but not many are willing to sacrifice the early moments of gratification for a potentially more rewarding experience. Enter Garçon: The Basel-based music afficcionado has steadily built his reputation as an expert in mood modulation. Combining hypnotic grooves from all corners of electronic music, he’s crafted a style firmly rooted in techno, with a singular affinity for the rhythmically dexterous landscapes that stretch beyond. An original resident of (now defunct) Basel institution Hinterhof, Garçon – in cooperation with ally Agonis – continues developing the Amenthia imprint’s unique sonic identity at Elysia, taking full advantage of the utilitarian space.

2023년 첫번째 벌트 팟캐스트는 텔아비브 출신으로 현재는 앤트워프를 중심으로 활동중인 테크노 아티스트 Yogg의 한시간 세트와 함께 합니다. 2018년 스코파빅의 3주년 밤을 위해 벌트에서 플레이하여 우리에게도 친숙한 Yogg는, 미래지향적인 레이블 Parallax Records를 이끌며 유명한 퀴어파티 Homopatik와 텔아비브의 테크노 클럽 The Block Club의 레지던트 디제이로 활동해왔습니다. 우아함을 담은 역동적인 그루브를 표현하는 Yogg의 특별한 믹스와 함께 2023년 활기찬 새해를 시작해봅니다.

The first vurt podcast of 2023 is a one-hour set by Yogg, a techno artist from Tel Aviv who is now based in Antwerp. Yogg is familiar to us from playing at vurt for Scopavic's third anniversary night in 2018. He has been a resident DJ at famous queer party Homopatik and Tel Aviv's techno club The Block Club, and fronting forward-looking label Parallax Records since 2014. 
Let's start new year 2023 with Yogg's special mix contains dynamic groove and edge of elegance.

Considered as one of the leading figures in Tel Aviv’s techno scene, Yogg (Yuval Goren) soundscapes are characterized by a dynamic, groovy approach that leaves enough room for experimentation and ambient additions. His musical influences provided him with an edge of elegance, a feature that makes the selections in his sets so notable. Having created Parallax Records back in 2014, he managed to maintain his musical signature, ensuring the freedom to explore further and produce in accordance with his own standards.
His passionate approach to music has given him the honor of performing in institutions such as Berghain, Concrete (Paris), Contact (Tokyo), Vurt (Seoul), becoming a resident DJ at the famous queer party Homopatik (DE), AVADON , and  The Block Club (TLV). he Released his work on various labels such as Non-Series, Counterchange, Gradient, Tales Collective, Illegal Alien, 30D Records, and Remixing Shlømo on Taapion, Xanexx on Scopavik (South Korea) and more.

Today we present: The Sphere of Buga

In today's episode, we follow the trail of the Buga Sphere, discovered in 1971 in the municipality of Bugalagrande, Valle del Cauca, Colombia, and now heard around the world.

It was found by a farmer, half-buried in a rural area, with no evident archaeological or geological context. Its completely spherical shape, extremely polished surface, and abnormal hardness give the impression that it does not belong to this world.

Tests conducted by independent researchers indicate that the sphere emits a continuous electromagnetic signal. According to these reports, the signal constantly points toward a specific region of space, at a nearly fixed angle relative to the Earth's axis. There is, as yet, no logical explanation for how a solid object, with no visible electrical components, could emit this type of signal.

Are we, once again, getting closer to our true truth?
