“This track embodies a metallic infusion into a blend of hip hop and heavy bass music elements, super industrial. Amber was initially an attempt at creating something purely out of stock Ableton plugins, wanting to test my proficiency with software I was unfamiliar with. This was also the very first track I wrote for the LP, setting the tone/theme for the album, and a lot of my post production.”

Tek Genesis is a Sydney bass fusion producer in the business of staying true to himself. Formerly known as William., the forward-thinking musician entered a brief creative hiatus to remedy his symptoms of artistic turmoil. After debugging his creative intentions, the Tek Genesis project was born. Combining the sounds of bass, acid-house, jungle, and hip-hop the attention-grabbing producer delivers ‘Amber’, lead single to his debut album ‘Temp’.

Second single to his forthcoming debut album ‘Temp’.

“Ether came to fruition very quickly, in the course of about 2 weeks, which was the shortest writing time of all the tracks featured on the album. It’s all centered around the vocal loop which I felt set an ethereal tone. I wanted to build around this, using tonal pads, and space-like reverb to make everything sound soothing, airy and celestial. I think the result is very reminiscent of something you’d here in a space/science-fiction movie soundtrack.”
