*biographical info*
The Glad Scientist is a Puerto Rican artist, programmer, and VJ. He is considered among the pioneers of virtual reality music as an art form, and is a founder of the Art in Tech Atlanta community and VLSC Records.

Coming up in the Atlanta music scene, along with stints living in Spain, Ghana, and Turkey helped shaped his musical sensibilities as well as deformed them to a place of inner sanctum and outer glimpse. The interplay of visual art, design, code, and sound subtly flows through his multidisciplinary output.

In recent years, his work has been welcomed at international festivals and symposiums including ISEA (International Symposium of Electronic Art), SXSW (South by Southwest), Bass Coast Festival, VRHAM!, FILE (Festival Internacional de Linguagem Eletrônica), ACE (Advances in Computer Entertainment), and IAM Weekend, among others. It has been awarded placement in Oculus Launchpad, Art Omi:Music Fellowship, Berlin Sessions Residency, ARTnSHELTER AiR, and Zoo Labs Music Accelerator.

His creations, while heavily technical, seek to incite new questions about our futures and technology’s (in)ability to make us (un)expectedly more human.
