Yohm Live at Oakland Ecstatic Dance 3-28-18 Mid 2 hours

Heres the mashup I have been digging the most during my sets the past few months. Its a mix of a song called "Makutekahu" from the the soundtrack of The Hunt for Wilderpeople, mixed with one of my very favorite songs "Algir - Stien Klarnar" by a Northern European ancient traditions band called Wardruna. I Put a dash of Pop in there too. You will hear the Oh yeah song from Ferris Beuller and part of Riders on The Storm by The Doors. Finished off with a tiny bit of Astarius saying “All is Well” and “Thank You God”.

Gratitone has foundations as both a musician and dancer. He played Sax in a ska band, studied Afrocuban percussion in Havana, and earned a degree in ethnomusicology. Gratitone likes to dance around the house in his underwear, teaches Latin Dance, and has been an ecstatic dancer since the age of 4. He is a dancer’s DJ and a dancing DJ. No stranger to creating magical mixes for E-dances and festivals, he’s played lineups with Poranguí, Soohan, Volo, Timbalive, Random Rab, and some random dude. The grooves Gratitone offers span a diverse, fun spectrum including: fabulous funk, wondrous world-fusions, glutinous glitch-trap, and tantalizing tribal.
