A very special project and a prologue of what's to come. Though I rarely express myself in this genre, Glitch-Hop has been one of the core foundations of my musical inspirations dating all the way back to 2010. KOAN Sound and earlier music by Seven Lions were heavily referenced/emulated while I was making this. I was always so intrigued by the structural complexity of the different basses in their music and I tried to recreate that here (there's like 6-7 Bass elements and 2 Rasselbocks in this bad boy). Other nuanced elements I added included the Vocal Chops for an Ambient vibe, a 70% swing groove for super funky rhythmic percussion, and the first time I've utilized arpeggios to mimic a Guitar/Ukulele.

I first heard this song by @duumu on Spotify a few weeks ago and was pretty surprised to see that the stems were available online. Apparently, there was a whole remix contest that I missed out on. Bummed that I didn't know to make this before the deadline, but this was still super fun to do. I'm not sure how this would have placed, but I figured that I should spice up the original song with a future garage remix!

Happy Holidays, peeps! It's VERY rare that I ever make Garage, but I took major inspiration from CloudNone and Direct to crank out this absolute Holiday Banger of a track. I tried my best to craft synths that convey an overall arctic/icy theme, but the rhythm/melodies are still vibrant enough to dance to. Definitely gonna try this genre more for my upcoming album next year. :)

-Description: As the title track of the EP, I wanted to make a big impression. The percussive notes were inspired by Deon Custom and meant to be a lot more rhythmic/punchier/bouncier than usual while the arps/melodies were inspired by the "Streets of Rage 2" OST. Don't really know what genre this falls under, so I'll let you all decide, lol.

Also played around with some bpm automation for the outro and implementing cellos throughout.
