Above The Clouds, out June 17th on Gravitas Recordings, is a powerful experience through sound, blending heavy bass and melodic synths for a hard hitting release ready for a massive crowd.  After years performing under the alias, SNOWMASS, Ian has removed the helmet and leveled up his sound.  He has made a name for himself playing huge festivals such as Electric Forest, Lost Lands, Spring Awakening, Camp Bisco, Global Dance Festival and more.  In 2020 Ian was ready to unveil his new name and brand, and as the pandemic hit he took the opportunity to focus on his music and style.  After years of finding his true sound and watching life return back to normal, Ian Snow has finally taken the stage and is bringing his ferocious energy to the dancefloor. 


“Eyes Closed” kick starts the EP in full force with the heaviest of bass growls and male vocals, taking no hesitation in enveloping the listener in this new sound and transporting them into a huge festival stage.  “Revelation” pulls back and steadily brings in nostalgic melodies, building a beautiful atmosphere and tension into a deep heavy drop rattling speakers while keeping the same melodies and sound.  “Above The Clouds” closes the EP with a perfect blend of both sides shown in the previous tracks, mind-melting bass with divine melodies in a beautiful recap of this new sound.

Dissolv returns to Gravitas Recordings July 11th with a long-awaited heavy hitting single.  This duo has been a part of the Gravitas family for years and we are thrilled to release a special single of theirs!  Their live violin and instrumentation mixed with world bass music is the perfect breath of fresh air that we look for in the bass scene, and this newest single showcases a heavier side and a new era of their sound.  This past year Dissolv has been touring all around the world and making waves with their unique live performance.  We are very excited to hear some new music from them, and fans are eagerly awaiting!

“Running Deep showcases a heavier and saucy side of Dissolv, bringing out new levels of conscious bass. The track “runs it” with melodic trap featuring haunting vocals and heavy bass. Listeners will experience powerful waves of deep melody and energetic beats involving moments of nostalgia and dancefloor swagger.” - Dissolv

Running Deep opens with bubbly synths and enchanting vocal chops, building an epic intro and dropping into a trappy beat and heavy hitting bass.  It never takes away from the original elements, and at the peak a vocal “we about to run it” brings in an even heavier synth and growls that has been destroying dancefloors.  This track perfectly blends their melodic sound while showcasing this heavier trap sound that has become so important in their live sets.
