Producer and musician SebaSchiume invites us to immerse ourselves in his first full-length album, Fragmentos, a sonic journey where urban rhythms, electronics and organic percussion merge into changing landscapes. A puzzle of textures and emotions, where each piece reveals a new horizon.
From the hypnotic take-off of Laberinto to the luminous landing of Resplandor, the album plunges us into an exploration of the unknown. The frenetic dembow and RKT rhythms of Infinito, the jungle introspection of Fragmentos, the jagged drums of Disociación and the depth of Caleidoscopio build a sonic journey in constant transformation. Aura, with its mix of voices and natural echoes, takes us to an unexpected refuge before closing the cycle in a vibrant awakening.

Artist and soundscape explorer, SebaSchiume has built his path through experimentation with urban rhythms and electronic sounds, fusing the ancestral with the futuristic. With a trajectory that encompasses collaborations and sonic explorations in different scenarios, Fragmentos marks a turning point in his work, consolidating his identity and his artistic search in an album that is, at the same time, a manifesto and a journey of no return.
Laberinto is the first single and first track of the album Fragmentos, by SebaSchiume, where he proposes a hypnotic journey of irregular rhythms, sounds and deformed voices that take us through a Labyrinth of mysterious, deep, introspective textures, to connect with ourselves, relax and let ourselves be carried away by what happens, by the music and start this journey of the album.

An electro-organic tidal wave of harmony and divergent sound design illustrates the beginning of Headtron all-star ChrisB's new EP "Triangular Objects", out on Gravitas Recordings January 15th. It's been nearly two years since his last solo release, but Los Angeles native Chris Brown reveals that this time has been spent hard at work. These six individual gems, ranging from the main room to the bedroom, are sure to stand apart in any bass music lover's collection. 

A barrage of psychotropic and integral melody distinguishes both "Fluid Dynamics" and "Space Dust", with large detuned leads bringing grit to what might otherwise be whimsical tunes. "Trendy" shows Chris' interpretation of the recent trap movement - but instead of reproducing the same exhausted sound palette, this intrepid producer merges his unique synthesis construction with heavy 808s to create an entirely fresh offering. Meticulous percussion steers the intro of the title track, soon giving way to reserved jazz keys set atop a laser-infused bassline. The EP comes to a close with the upbeat "Eye in the Sky", which boasts complex synth work and funky bass riffs suitable for a 5-string Fender.

Although many producers attempt to bridge palpable psychedelia into their music, few do it as well as Texas producer Somatoast, who's debut EP "Withinity" is out April 30th on Gravitas Recordings. Swirling chord progressions mix with a motley palette of virtuoso sound design, assuring this album is perfect for a headphone excursion. However, this does not detract from the four track EP's danceability -- strong rhythm is carried through the dubby basslines and bouncy drum arrangements. Deeply textured atmospheres wash through the listener's headspace no matter the physical environment, highlighted by fluttering echoes and spacious reverb. Fans of Tipper, Bluetech, Kalya Scintilla, and Heyoka will truly enjoy this special release.
