With squelchy delight, Shanti Planti is proud to release the first premier of a two part VA – Rhythm Code. Featuring 15 producers from the USA, France, UK, Australia and New Zealand, this VA is soaked in dreamy eastern instrumentals, squidgy crunches and soul shaking bass lines. Rhythm Code showcases a mind expanding stew of psydub and midtempo treasures. Each track was donated without intention of individual profit but in means to support expansion and to help sustain the auditory collective, Shanti Planti.

On any overcast night deep within the supernatural suburbs of Brooklyn, one could find Space Jesus and Esseks hard at work conjuring their next otherworldly audio concoction. "Dopplebangers" proves itself to be the grandest fruits of this labor, featuring four eccentric originals plus four remixes from Freddy Todd, Zebbler Encanti Experience, Yheti, and Jade Cicada. Simultaneously eerie and enchanting, "Dopplebangers" reaches deep toward the roots of bass music, subtly mixing complex sound design with engaging harmony. The nocturnal, haunting, and spooky nature of the songs comes across as an unexpected breath of fresh air in a musical landscape so deprived of ingenuity and originality. As their first release with Texas-based Gravitas Music, the duo has opted to make the entire album free/pay-what-you-want, inviting listeners to step inside their carefully crafted realm of bass-centric soundscapes.

Whether it’s that perfect sunrise at a beach or a desert party or in the depths of a dark urban winter in a dingy club, the euphoric sounds of the Headtron roster bring a certain bliss only obtained though fine crafting of sound and a great deal of musicality. The melodically driven music behind tough urban beats brings thoughts of Jazz, Chillout Music, IDM, Hip Hop and R & B all coming together for a morning of cocktails and a jam session and the result is a magical blend of all. Headtron is a boutique music company founded in 2010 by Alex Becket in Los Angeles California, comprised of music producers, musicians, visual artists, videographers, designers, builders, and more. They strive to create next level electronic music made by original artists. Muti Music has already had the honer of working with Stephan Jacobs, Ill-Esha, Verb, ChrisB and Sugarpill on EPs and remixes that all brought new takes on the ‘West Coast Sound’. Govinda has been continuously redefining and rebranding itself. After revisiting this project a myriad of times to ensure absolute perfection, Govinda presents Burning Rings of Helios, now out on Gravitas Music. This seven-track album has been Shane’s favorite project to produce thus far, as it traverses different realms of gypsy violin and dives into new inspiration stemming from circus arts. The beats are soft and subtle, yet abrasive and envelope crushing to take Burning Rings of Helios unexpected places while still staying true to Govinda.

Listeners are greeted by a mysterious violin in “CObra STyle” before encountering an upbeat, gypsy dubtronica soundscape that is composed of several twists and turns. The journey proceeds to meet the “Goblin King,” who welcomes visitors with piercing melodic vocals that accompany soothing strings and an abundance of glitch. “Inside Your World” explores the dark and haunting depths of exotic bass, with bewitching vocals that urge listeners to continue the designated path. A sultry violin fluidly glides through the sharp cosmic atmosphere, which causes eyes to wander into “Nebulous Space.” Once consciousness returns, a muted trumpet in “Smokey Memories” attempts to defog hazy recollections in a mellow blues. Soon after, live instrumentation is employed in “Bent Cipher” to distribute a gratifying electronic jazz punch. As the pilgrimage comes to an end, assorted elements featured in preceding tracks are incorporated to tie up the project into a “Twisted” finale.
