The first release on ISOTES, 'Arctic Moonrise' explores a dark theme.

Authoritarian regimes are known to use exile as a tool to punish political opponents who dare to speak out against corruption or dissent from government decisions.

IK-2 and IK-3 are among many remote penal colonies, with some near the Arctic Circle, where political dissidents are imprisoned. This form of punishment serves a darker purpose: a deliberate strategy to instill fear, suppress dissent, and silence those who dare to resist.

'Arctic Moonrise' reflects the severe hardships endured by these prisoners in isolated camps.

The EP begins and ends with dark ambient tracks, while in between, several dancefloor-oriented pieces emerge, including a remix by smbr.

With the dark ambient tracks, the intention was to evoke the atmosphere of these penal colonies — harrowing tales of deprivation, years in exile, and the slow erosion of body and spirit under relentless cold and isolation.

After Earth was lost to nuclear fire, Sterope voyages aboard The Particle Explorer, a space ship built by Gravity Field Electronics, searching fractured civilizations for a new world that could sustain life — a final hope for humanity’s survival. 

Excerpt from Chapter 1: The Particle Explorer’s Mission

Docked on the dust-laden surface of Phobos, the Particle Explorer begins its journey — a slow arc through the remnants of the solar system, en route to the distant star Tauri-21. Built in the final years before Earth’s collapse, the vessel carries the story of a planet undone by thirst, war, and ice turned to currency. This chapter traces the events leading to The Final Burn, when Earth’s last freshwater reserves ignited global conflict and accelerated humanity’s second wave of departure.

Chapter 1 - Journey to Tauri 21

Rooted in a near-future sci-fi narrative, the imprint Gravity Field traces the echoes of humanity’s Second Wave of departure — following a nuclear event that rendered Earth uninhabitable. 

Aboard the ship 'The Particle Explorer', an interstellar traveler drifts through the void, encountering remnants of fractured civilizations. 

Each release is accompanied by interviews and reflections from these encounters, published on the Gravity Field blogazine, offering deeper insight into each artist’s background — their first encounters with electronic music, and the personal trajectories that shaped them into the DJs/producers and label owners they are today.
