this is good for beginner shit. i need to be utilizing a greater variety of tones and implementing them sporadically as you do here, but i seem to trap myself in melodic structures that i feel prohibit doing this. maybe i just need to deliberately create something fast paced lol

Thanks, that actually means a lot to me since I tend to look back on my old stuff and think "I can do better", which some day I probably will. I seem to have strayed away from this kind of style for a more chaotic unrealistic  NES style of music. I should go back and try to work out some of my old stuff for a more polished up-to-date me thing. As for your stuff, Im looking forward to hearing more of what you have to come. I can dig what you got so far. =]

Going thru my old "Shit Folder" folder for my famitracker files trying to gather some junk from when I was starting out to revisit to make better with the set of skills I have now. This one song I have officially named (earful adventure) or something like that where it splits off and sounds like you're listening to a short boss fight. I've uploaded that trash here too. Well the part where the boss fight is supposed to happen sounds completely different and surprisingly better in comparison to the old version. The problem; I did not do it. No one around me knows how this software works so I doubt it was any of those I was with/around within a years time. So who the hell did it? Was I visited by the chiptune fairy?"

The First is the original, followed by a few seconds of silence then the uknown begins at the pause sound. 
Boosted the audio a bit fore there was volume control I had nothing to do with. I did not not understand a lot of what I was doing at the time so that wasn't a thing for me. Also noting that I did not use a lot of triangle for the fact i blasted every channel with no control over volume what so ever. This post was made for the facebook status I earlier posted.

My first remix! 

I had a lot of fun making it, unfortunately I didn't get a chance to clean up some of the instruments as FL studio crashed before I got to it and I currently only have the demo version so some parts are pretty rough orz.. But! This is only the first song I've done so oh well, I'll only work on improving from here! I have a lot (a loooot) of ways to go but I hope you can enjoy regardless! Thanks :]

Just an average guy who likes the sounds of the retro game generation. The bleeps and bloops of retro hardware and what can be made of them today is where most of my focus goes to.
I mainly focus on the NES utility and my biggest influence to this is Chibi-Tech. I try to explore and get as much out of the NES sound possibilities in ways that would leave people dumbfounded. Still working and tweaking around in that bit. So for what its worth, I lay down the dumps here and keep going. Mainly what you will find here is works in progress of anything I decide to share and completed covers. I don't upload regularly but if I do I hope it would be worth your time to listen.
