Human Element is the project of Martin Knecht. His journey into electronic music began in his early teenage years and after some years of dedicated practicing, he started to perform in clubs and parties around Switzerland. A longtime residency at zürichs legendary Labyrinth Club helped him to shape his instinct and intuition and made his agenda busy playing all over the country. 
He moved a step further to write and produce his own music and after a few releases as a solo artist, he formed the progressive project Earsugar in 2003 and later the label mikrokosmos records together with Nicola Capobianco, aka Liquid Soul. The busy tour schedule continued but this time on a global scale with performances at major festivals and parties all over the world. 
In 2009 martin decided to focus more on his solo work and since then he kept on shaping and exploring new frontiers in his creation as Human Element. In 2013 he joined the Iboga Records family where most of his productions get released including his album EVOLVING that came out in late 2017. 
His sound is a blend of progressive house, progressive trance and techno, best to describe as deep driving and hypnotic soundscapes

This channel aims to be the starting point for discovering quality psytrance music on soundcloud:

1. We are featuring more or less unknown but good and professional psytrance artists in our "All Unreleased" playlist.  As the name says, you will find full and unreleased tracks of high quality only.

2. We collect all the free download tracks on soundcloud from well known and less known psytrance artists and are melting them into our "All Free Downloads" playlist. 

We are a bunch of psytrance lovers and are doing this for the love for the music. It is our taste and feeling what`s good and what`s garbage.  The focus is on full tracks so that our followers do not need to go through thousands of artist profiles to find these gems.  And we add psytrance and progressive trance tracks only, no dark/forest/hi-tech (sorry!)

Kilian Horvath & Ramon Rocchinotti are XV Kilist. Having known each other since they were able to walk and talk , they began dj-ing in the late 90's. It was clear from the outset that making their own music would be the ultimate goal of that project.

Just in time for the end of the millennium Kilian released his first 12" vinyl as XV Kilist on Spiral Trax International, followed by two albums and many singles on various labels. A year later the guys decided to consolidate into a dj/producer team touring around the globe.

Their style is hard to describe; while it is a crossbreed of different genres and influences that change with every production, it remains always danceable, fresh'n funky, with the goal to touch people and to provide us all with a good time on the dancefloor.

Their creed: "Music is our personal therapy……..we don't need a psychologist as long as we're able to create. We find all our answers within that process and, ultimately, in the expression itself."

2004 was the year that two old friends, Andreas and Denis, decided to hit the studio to have some fun. After a couple of days the first tune was created and they were both very happy with the result. They decided to continue making music together and so Gaudium was born. Gaudium is the Latin word for satisfaction which is basically what music should be to the ears.

Both Andreas and Denis have been involved in several music projects before they decided to start producing together. At the end of 2004 the Swedish record label Spiral Trax heard a Gaudium track that really caught their attention and that became the start of the first album Nordic Nature. The album was released during the summer 2005 and received great reviews from both fans and critics all over the world, some even claiming it to be the best progressive release of the year (!)

The year after the album was released turned out to be a very productive time for Gaudium and they released tracks on labels like Flow, Plusquam, Sinn-Tech and Yellow Sunshine Explosion. Remixes on tracks by artists like Ace Ventura, Sensifeel, Visua and Symphonix were also made. 

Gaudium creates music that can be described as progressive psychedelic trance with elements of both house and techno. This attracts an audience that is used to the sounds of Spiral Trax, Iboga and Digital Structures as well as the crowd that are more familiar with harder progressive house such as Marc O’Tool and Krüger & Coyle.

In 2006 after the sad news that Spiral Trax label group stopped existing Gaudium went back to the studio to focus on not going down with the ship. A new album started to take shape and a record deal with the highly respected Danish label Iboga was made.

Gaudium is a name you will hear a lot from in the future. New remixes, performances around the world and fresh material produced for the second album will be presented. Stay tuned and make sure not to miss any of it :)

From minimalism to melody and back again, Isan have been navigating the aural Autobahn since a chance meeting brought together Robin Saville and Antony Ryan in 1996. With Robin based in Southend on Sea, England and Antony residing in Denmark, they creatively communicate via email, telephone and postcard. Notes are compared and directions assimilated or abandoned, they prefer to allow their sound to develop on its own.

Having recorded for a variety of micro-indies such as Bad Jazz, Static Caravan and Wurlitzer Jukebox, Saville and Ryan now consider Morr Music their spiritual home.

Continually progressing their passion for sound, Isan are not afraid of giving their analogue tone poems space to breathe, placing as much importance on void and silence as on sounds – sometimes vibrant and scratchy, sometimes hymnal and opulent. Their sonic design sits somewhere between the Düsseldorf sounds of Kraftwerk and neu!, the invention of a young Eno and the smart-pop expertise of the Cocteau Twins.

They’ve remixed and been remixed by the likes of Depeche Mode, The Notwist, Seefeel and Piano Magic amongst others. Isan have also brought their Kosmische confection to the stage, gracing respected festivals such as Sonar and the Big Chill and playing as far afield as China, Japan, Iceland, Russia and Hull*.
