Deckades Of Trance - Friday 6th December

was a trance and hard house DJ many years ago  - small clubs - but still luv the music

I started off listening to trance through a few Radio stations back in the 90’s which inspired me into mixing trance music for several years on Sound lab DLP’s then onto the Techy 1200’s I then progressed to Numark axis 9 for my first sample of digital before going onto CDJ’s around 2006, still playing classic trance vinyl and plenty of uplifting and driving modern day trance. Welcome to my page which is dedicated to all things trance! 

I’ve been DJing off and on since I got my first pair of Gemini belt drive decks way back in ‘99, which some people refer to as the “year of trance”.  My love for trance started when I first heard PvD - For an Angel and have been hooked ever since. 

I mainly DJ’d in the 00s at a few bars and clubs in Leicester, but never went any further than that. Then life took over and I gave it all up for about 10 years or so, selling all my DJ equipment in the process.  It was only in lockdown that I started it up again as was so bored, and I got back my love of trance and have been mixing ever since. 

I love most types of trance so wanted to create this page to share my mixes which are made up of my favourite tunes from over the years.

Speed is a US Florida native who grew up NYC tri-state area and took on a liking to Trance at an early age of his youthful years. He got his first pair of decks at 16 and would travel to Satellite records shop in Manhattan to get releases he heard on his pc. As time went on he grew a passion for his art in turntable beat matching and was inspired by the likes of the well-known big artists in the genre of Progressive, Trance, & Breaks. Later on, SpeedRising met up with Richard Sander the label boss of Saturn3 Records where Richard signed Speed's first track, Rouge City.

A Trance follower since the beginning, because there’s nothing like it 🫠 Also a serious vinyl collector and player. To the Trance family and everyone that wants to get involved, happy listening 🎧👍
