Liberated

There are two things that fuel my life: music and love. When I write and play music these two things join forces. My compositions reflect the world around and within me. While working on music I lose complete track of time - it's a lovely gift, and I'm very thankful for it. 

I'm an award-winning performer/composer/lyricist/arranger/producer who lives in Nanuet, NY, where I am a full time private piano, music theory and composition teacher.



Singer-songwriter Gray Click brings a catchy, feel-good sound to the Myrtle Beach music scene. Click’s songwriting is rooted in an acoustic foundation, while giving a nod to the classic songwriters of pop and rock ‘n roll. The music and sound is comprised of both mellow and urgent rockers, centered on a melodic pop/rock platform.

For the past few years, Brian McKenzie, a long-time friend and producer, has been backing Click with lead acoustic guitar/mandolin in a live setting, while also recording and joint producing the music in the studio.

Today, what was originally a solo or duo act, has expanded into a full rock outfit. The project has been privileged, having a group of gifted players to contribute live, and in the studio - Tommy Tipton, Drew Jacobs, Ryan Carter, A.j. Rownd, Pamela Cannon Cook, and David Wright.

During a live show, McKenzie trades off the acoustic for his staple electric guitar sound, and Gray Click remains the singer-songwriter on vocals and guitar. The band is called:

In May 2014, "Things Turn Black" aired on the CNN program, Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown (Season 3, Episode 6, 'Mississippi Delta'). The song played during the epilogue and through the closing credits. The Gray Click are fans, and were thrilled.
