My closing set at the Cedar Lounge late Sunday night/Monday morning at Shambhala Music Festival in Salmo, BC. Re-recorded from my serato history at home away from the dust; a few mistakes here and there but that's part of the fun. Big thanks to the Grove stage for having me out and everyone that made it to my set at 3am on Sunday night when there was so much other amazing stuff going on. Felt real nice to get to bring the chillest stage at Shambhala from deep dancefloor energy down to straight up ambient just in time for Monday morning. Lots of my favorite tracks and plenty of vinyl only rips in there. Hope you enjoy and thanks for listening.

Sao Paulo is one the largest city in the world, a concrete jungle located in the heart of South America. Beautifull but tough, this city boasts an eclectic hybrid of culture, religions and people, that is what make it so special. When O.B.F received an invitation to perform in Brazil, he did not really know what to expect, but he fell in love with this city, its people, these painted walls , its chaos and its unlimited creativity. During his stay in the paulista city, he wanted to make his mark. Influenced by what he was surrouding, by what he saw, by what what he felt, he called a few people and a few days later, he put together a special team of artists.

The prolific Dubstep pioneer Youngsta returns to self-run imprint Sentry Records, this time delivering the wax treatment with a murderous collaboration featuring the dons Killa P and Long Range. Title track ’Progress’ starts off innocently, before slowly dragging you into a field of melody that quickly turns into a warzone: Infectious stabs resemble heavy arms, which do serious damage thanks to the genius square- and sawtooth bass lines as its core. This engineering is backed up by dons Killa P and Long Range, who both pack that extra punch, to conclude their joint effort with Youngsta remains part of one deadly formula. The power of the track ultimately lies within the short bursts of thunderous percussion, ruff vocals from the very underground - and the ton of pressure avid listeners of the tidy Dubstep culture love unmistakably. Tested thoroughly on systems across the globe, both the vocal version as the instrumental have the power to stir a serious crowd. With this thirteenth release of the label, catalogued as 'SEN013', to be set in stone, it is as bulletproof as all preceding releases of this very imprint.

A Producer and DJ, Graysound, Isn’t one to stick to any specific genre. As a producer, Gray is nothing short of prolific with several releases on well known labels Dank 'n' Dirty Dubz, Iron Shirt Recordings, Liquid Flavour Records, Subworld Audio, Squinty Bass Records, E4 Records along with self-released tracks. He has also produced music alongside and for elipsa, rider shafique, natty Campbell, young ghost, camo mc to name a few.
Gray is also the mastermind behind the beloved PDC (Port Dubs Collective) Sound System. A standout in the sound system community of Aotearoa, its vibrant blue and yellow speakers have been spotted all over town, in clubs, bars, Paddocks and your local RSA rattling the memorabilia lose.
