Vor einem knappen Jahr entstand die Idee zum Titeltrack der neuesten EP von @fabiovanore. „Der Track „Ortygia“ ist vor fast zwölf Monaten entstanden, während ich unter großem Einfluss von Sounds aus Großbritannien und Labels wie Bedrock stand. Die Nummer ist etwas abseits meines eigentlichen Soundspektrums, aber ich habe ihn vom ersten Tag an geliebt und als Kind akzeptiert“, erzählt das Mitglied des Kölner Labels @incroyable-music. Herausgekommen ist ein Werk mit perkussiven Intro, überlagernden Piano-Akkorden und vielfältigen Melodien, die von einer bouncenden Bassline begleitet werden. Great Stuff proudly presents volume ten of it’s “To The Underground” series. The series features solely exclusive tracks. Hand picked with only the dance floor in mind. Tracks that will work crowds and elevate dj sets. 

To The Underground Vol. 10 starts off with Eddy M’s “Music“. A high energy house bomb! It features supernatural bass frequencies, which were created to take roofs off. The female vocal snippets and percussion elements complete the track in perfect style.

Up next is Klein’s jacking “Vibin”. This prime time weapon consists of just right balance of: robot style vocoder vocals, a rocking bassline and an otherworldly groove.  

Black Girl / White Girl take things deeper with their charismatic, slow burning sounds. Magic chords, mesmerising break downs and a snappy deep house groove build the rock-hard foundation for “Aleph”.

The specific stamp of authenticity of Joe Red, SP1DER & Savi Leon’s “All Over” is its bold, gliding groove and limitless bassline that supports the engaging vocal parts and effect sounds in the most modish way. 

The accentuated, funk-filled melody & rumbling groove rock a long a tight knit net of percussion sounds, while the snappy hi-hats bring the right amount of fun. Roland Römer & Ill-Boy Phil’s “Passt” is a dancefloor hot shot!  

Steve Kid is closing out this delectable pool of beautiful electronic music. His “Run Away, So Far” track is all about the deep and mystic deep house groove. Growling synths lead the way through effect-soaked atmospheric pastures and intense male vocal sections.

A modern nomad who has travelled the continents with his music, Nu is as diverse in his musical styles as he is well-travelled.

Taking influences from his various homes, such as Switzerland, Germany, or Peru, the producer and trained sound engineer branched out into various genres (deep house, hip hop, trip-hop, ambient, experimental, dance, and even film and dance theatre music composition). Through this years-long musical journey, Nu then found his true calling: instrumentals amalgamated with his electronic production, all held together through solid rhythms.

Nuʼs music has a strong emphasis on live performance. He fuses clean-cut minimal techno with the raw sounds of his analogue synthesis and his self-made instruments. He works with anything from self-recorded samples over drum and synthesizer machines to multi-touch screen controllers.
