Pointed by a rumbling sub bassline, chunky beats and rough vocals, Busted is a piece of modern, prime time ghetto house! The Dub mix provides a drum-focused substitute, centring on its energetic appeal and sleek sounds.

Mutiny UK and Mr. Lekka both take things a bit deeper and more techy with their interpretations, making their remixes the perfect add-ons to this super strong package.

This isn't about magnesium tablets and their benefits. If it were, I would go on about how they help with circulation. Prevent diabetes. Give health to bones. The heart. Nerve functions. Help with sleep. 

No - this is about these really vivid dreams I've been having. Like just last night i dreamt that EDM was dead. Generic builds, breaks and drops. Gone. Over paid knob twiddlers, unemployed. Pretentious jet setters, on the train.

Replaced by a wall of sound with difference. Where each track had it's own schtick. Producers were inventive, not derivative. Creative not crap. Where promoters talked about the epic warm up from last night, not how hot the chicks were. 

A world where the ghetto funk of tunes like "Cymbal Play" and "Ghostrider" were the norm and not outstanding. 

But then I woke up and realized magnesium tablets give u whacky dreams.

So long live Kyle Watson. For he is truly a man from that "dream land" and his EP on Club Sweat is testament to good ol' jackin club music!

Essentials - Drummachine

Russian producer Deeperteque Lands on pogo house records for release 187 and drops two tasty riddims for the Boomerang EP. First up it’s the title track ‘Boomerang’, Deeperteque brings swinging percussion with nice clean skippy rim shots that progress nicely throughout the track. Throw in some clever choppy vocal samples with a hypnotic rolling bassline and ‘Boomerang’ becomes a definitive dancefloor groover.     
On the flipside ‘Koch’ weighs in heavy with slamming kicks and throbbing bass, subtle hip hop samples alongside a lovely Roland 606 drum pattern on the breakdown that gives off a vibe of pure get down vibes to this. This ones definitely a grower and deserves a 4th listen, we will only say this once…. dismiss at your own peril.
