The three-track EP embraces the concept of outer space partying, bringing together a collection of fun and energetic tracks all written, produced, and performed by Topping, including his own vocals which feature heavily throughout.

Kicking things into gear is ‘Lift Off’, bringing pounding drums and rising FX alongside rowdy synth hits as Topping’s vocals take the track to new heights. ‘Quick To The Mothership’ sees heavy rave stabs and blown out kicks alongside his own auto-tuned performance for a high energy affair before ‘Planet Session’, the final destination on the journey, closes out the release. Drawn out, high pitched leads sit atop a subtle and pulsing 4/4 pattern, with rolling low-end bringing the EP to a satisfying conclusion.

Alan Fitzpatrick’s We Are The Brave imprint celebrate their 95th release with ‘Dramatizer’, a jackin’ techno release from Marco Faraone. 

Marco's productions have graced some of the scene’s most respected labels; from Drumcode to Defected, Rekids, and of course his own much-respected UNCAGE imprint. His We Are The Brave debut is the high-energy, peak time slice of techno we’d expect from the Italian producer. 

Dramatizer opens with a pounding kick drum and Detroit inspired synth stabs that build suspense as they open under a low-pass filleter. Fast-flowing hi-hats and punishing claps fill the track with an explosive energy, while the rumbling bassline and anarchistic vocals captivate the dance floor.

Zenbi first came to prominence on Saeed Younan's eponymous Younan Music label last year, remixing the imprint owner's Kumbalha alongside Sabb. Now he's back with a tasty solo effort on Germany's Great Stuff, with both of his aforementioned colleagues providing remixes.

Double Trouble is a sleek little groove, and an exercise in simplicity. Tribal vocals and a descending, saucy bassline work their way around crisp, perfectly spaced percussion and techy rhythms to create a succinct, deft concoction. If it's not slick and smooth you're after though, four remixes from four very talented producers provide a suitably wide palette.

Saeed Younan reaches for his box of tribal goodies to compliment the vocal, building on his bouncing, galloping groove with infectious wooden percussion and layers of light techy metalics upping the energy to bring the track to fever pitch. Sexy, seductive and ridiculously plump. Italian star Stefano Noferini reveals his techno edge with his pumping, rolling rework that marries incessant bass to a shoulder-popping rhythm, while UK's finest Filthy Rich brings his tribal tech A-game with a beautifully chunky, brooding version. Zenbi's partner-in-crime rounds off the package with a throbbing, cymbal ride heavy excursion that combines serious bass weight with a decided lightness of touch elsewhere.

Transmit Label boss Boris teams up with Matt Sassari who's no stranger to Transmit and the Techno underground scene to release this smashing two track EP. Side features 'Groove Vox' a more groovy hard driving track, with dark elements throughout the track. Side B features 'Overcome' a pounding techno bomber that's meant for peak hour sets. Both solid tracks that will have your dance floor moving and shacking.
