This is why our environment and crew are so inspiring. During the mix of this track, Charles Lazer and Plan B invaded the studio. Lazer taken over the gear and deployed some keys, Plan B got the mike and recorded some weird percs and noises, but Fragoso wasn't satisfied by the already brilliant intervention. He wanted it to sound like it was sounding on his ears, so all the additional Lazer and Plan B inputs were recorded with a microfone capturing the instruments in the room instead of a direct line or files on the DAW.

In the end you end up with a raw room sound filled with a rough harmonic sound from the keys and noises, and all this gave magic to a track that was already too sculpted and shaped. It just humanized it and made it sound much more organic and alive.

Plus, it was asking for some vocal intervention following the fun in the room.

Coming up through the Melbourne club scene over the last decade, Fabio Da Silva cut his teeth playing at some of the city’s most notable institutions. After cementing himself as a purveyor with exquisite taste, It wasn’t long before his attention turned to music production.

Soon after, his tracks began to appear on labels such as Club Sweat, Valiant Records, Sweat It out and PP Music. Notably his most recent release “Jacker” was remixed by Transylvanian Tech Don, Mihai Popoviciu, which peaked at #7 on the Beatport minimal tech charts.
