In a huge step away from their usual DIY recording methods, for this EP and upcoming album, the band teamed up with industry legends Jeff Zeigler (Kurt Vile, War On Drugs) & Cory Hanson (Wand, Ty Segall & The Muggers), resulting in songs that are somehow brilliantly produced yet still maintain their rawness and energy. As well as the previous one, i wasn't able to finish this track as my apartment was burglarised on October 2020.
Around July 2020, i've randomly sent some music to a dear friend of mine: Simon Heah, because he wanted to hear it.
Here is what's left, as well as other lo-fi recordings that i will only share on Soundcloud.
The thieves stole my musical equipment, my computer and the usbs where i kept the projects at the time, gladly i was able to send some audio files to Simon.
There is no reason for me to holding on to it, so here it is...

This is an old dude's attempt to channel/manage his life into music. The overarching theme is the ancient one of human experience, the reality of death and pain and our ability to survive knowing that this is the reality. One well-established route is to embace religion but, in my case, I don't follow that. If you don't follow religion, what is left for you when you have to contront the painful, desolate truth of our existence? I don't know the answer, but these songs are part of my exploration of the question.

Emerging Indie Bands

Swedish indie rock band Great Hare formed around 2010 when four friends got together after a long hiatus from music. Naming the band after nocturnal chance encounters with wild hares, they turned a loft into a recording studio and brought drums, guitars, tape delay machines, keyboards, pink chorus pedals, an old piano and influences from the post-punk era they grew up in. They turn up at nights looking for melodies that want to be turned into songs. The good ones arrive like waves hitting a beach or echoes of something submerged under the surface.
