Starting their musical journey after an interview and acoustic set on BBC Tees Radio, frontman Khyle Fryer sought to bring togethor like minded musical individuals to create and perform energetic, upbeat and eclectic music.
Making music that you can make you move to  and feel good is something that Great Waves aspire to create. Whilst remaining proffesional in their writing and performing, the lads strive to never take themselves too seriously and also make sure to friendly, engaging and supportive of others.
Described as ‘one of the most refreshing acts in the North East’ and that ‘these guys can deliver and energetic, feel-good live show’, Great Waves are determined to cause a tsunami in the music scene. Their well received received debut EP Solace has secured radio plays, interviews and live performances on radios including (but no limited to): BBC Tees, Spark.FM, Bishop FM etc.
