Adam Majdecki-Janicki (1985) has been writing poetry, lyrics, composing, playing, and recording since 1998. Fay Victor has been hailed by the New York Times as “artistically complete” for her unique vocal approach to the blues, jazz, free improvisation and her own original material. Starting from the jazz tradition, Victor has gone on to encompass a multi-genre approach to music, lyrics and song called “Freesong.” She has released seven critically acclaimed recordings as a leader, toured extensively throughout Europe as well as Japan, India, Russia, and Mexico and has worked with a veritable who's-who of musicians such as Anthony Braxton, Amiri Baraka, Misha Mengelberg, William Parker, Laurence “Butch' Morris, Gary Lucas, Roswell Rudd, Dave Burrell, Han Bennink, Tyshawn Sorey and more.
