After his triumphant involvement in the Greenfields tour, Herzel is back with another release for Filter. The second part of the Maps And Thoughts trilogy continues where the first one left us - in the middle of an ethereal field, full of analogue drones and mind entangling soundscapes. C64 is a lo-fi beauty creeping around until it wraps around you completely. Brown Paper Bag is reminiscent of Sakamoto's finest works, building anticipation all the way through and providing a perfect tool for the DJ who wants something more that the usual hit-me-hard approach. Finally, Disko Sinusoid concludes things in a trendy fashion, winking towards Kompakt and FCom fans. It really doesn't matter if you call this music mikro house, leftfield, electronica or simply pop for the open-minded. The important thing is that it is made to stand the test of time and help the rise of another bright star of modern music. Herzel has arrived!

Our next release comes from a truly good friend and a music activist. Herzel is with our label from the early starts, and helped us build this label what it is today. He is releasing an EP that has a distinctive and warm analog sound. He is steadily building a signature sound for his name that will separate him from other artists. His productions can be recognized as blendings from leftfield, electronica, downtempo, idm, disco and house.

This release is truly a masterpiece and includes remixes from Alessandro Guarnerio also known as Mstk, and Petar Petkovski, the label manager.

Greenfields is a non profitable platform that covers the internet publishing area and has a purpose of promoting and uniting artists from many fields like music, graphic design, photography, video, illustration, new media…

Our main goal is to make the audience more aware of new ways of expression, creativity and concepts. We are trying to bring all of this to the masses by the well known concept of free internet publishing, and this way a much more wider target group can be achieved.

We mainly focus and explore variety of styles of electronic music, and have connections with artists from all over the world who have released for our label. We don’t search for a particular style in sound and expression, as long as it’s unique. To this day, we have released various styles of music ranging from experimental electronic, dub, glitch, techno, classical instruments and more.

Talking about other forms of expression, our concept is to provide a platform where artists don’t take music as their primary field of expression, rather photography, video art, animation, etc. can publish their creations as online exhibitions.

We hope that Greenfields will play a defining role in our society, educating and helping people to recognize and be more close to something that’s original and inspiring.
