Telecast - #041 - Telecasting to the cosmos! Welcome to the forty-first TELECAST. A series of podcasts that I am releasing monthly with the humble aim of combining the music, I find, love, and want to share into a set for everyone to enjoy. Hopefully, it will become your go-to place for a fix of good music.

This is a musical journey through the soul and the spirit of a Colombian DJ who has found in music the best way to express himself. We are going to board the train of the great master of the wandering: Manu Chao; who will mark our passport with his migrant stamp. Then we will be carried away by the sweet rhymes of the new jazz, by the little Colombian friends, Los Petit Fellas. They will take us to the moon with their swing in love.
Let's land in the southern cone of this new world, full of possibilities and problems, packed with the loops of history. We sit in the voices of protest of a people that never stops fighting, letting their voices rumble to the rhythm of the drums that cry out for freedom; for a free land so that we can all sow our dreams. 
Mercedes Sosa shows us her mastery. She tames the brave Trova that unites us as children of the Andes, as brothers of the pampas and the plains that make us land on the beautiful shores of the Brazilian Zamba. Let your body go, let yourself be carried away by the taste and the joy of the Carioca´s rhythms, because happiness will never be a destiny, but rather a contagious condition of the human being. We have already seen how the doors to the Caribbean open, and what better welcome than to leave fear behind and approach a Bomba Estéreo that cannot be deactivated. It explodes with the greatest electronic champeta, expanding the taste of tropical love of life.
At this moment, we already realize that in this new country, mixtures are commonplace and foreign influences shape our cosmopolitan identity. As we find the emotional blood that runs through these southern veins, we begin, without even realizing it, a spiritual journey through our being and the true expression of our I AM. Breathe! You have time to feel yourself, to love yourself, and to project yourself into your greatest version, before all of you get stuck in this wheel of Samsara. The tongues are fading away and without understanding, you are beginning to hear a message that is resonating within each one of you and revealing the true meaning of LOVE.
Back again, we seem to have landed in a desert, flooded with sounds that resonate with our ancestral Arabic roots, transporting us to large tents, cool fabrics, and the feeling of entering an oasis. Outside, nothing can limit our vision. This is so real, am I awake or still on my inner journey? A new sound comforts us and propels us upward, leaving behind all that weighs us down. There is no going back, heaven awaits us.
From one moment to the next, we are back in this new world, adorned with trumpets and timpani that make our hearts beat to the rhythm of creation. Because life is guaracha and sadness is optional. Although the end will always be happy, we never know when it will begin, the most certain thing is that it has already begun, and the revolution of love has already chosen its soldiers. And for some reason, here we are listening to these sounds that unite us:

The set you put on suddenly brings you out of rhythm, but getting up to skip the track is no longer an option.

We have been scouting for the perfect Sunday morning sets for quite a while already and while "Eigentlich heissen wir Klaus" & "Mattmosphere" have been steady suppliers of them for us, we also developed the idea of asking befriended artists to record one hour of music, to which they like to stay in bed with a loved one.

It's an intimate ask, but most of them said yes.
