This is one of the songs that was converted from its original version to fit into a set with a full band. ( Greenfleamusic ) The original version was and is a sweet and soothing folk song that I love to play when i'm by myself . I will be re-recording it tomorrows how I like it. I think ive got an idea wht im going to record first off. No.. I have not practiced barely at all.. but im not worried...

When I have the new recording I will tell you why it was written... lets just say that its after a night that didnt go well opening for a nationally touring / up and coming headliner..

I heard today that a ceasefire has been decided in the Middle East from January 19, 2025. So good for the population! And YES, the ceasefire in the Middle East was implemented. Now we hope it lasts!
Oh, so much news reaching us world citizens. It's uneasy both here and there. We expect a ceasefire in the Middle East in two days. Hope it goes through! Then we have the war against Ukraine - it's written in the stars how it will go here!

News

I sit here and I look through my window panthe winter storms are raging and the snow falls down
the news reach me and I am surprised how all things can go wrong
there are those fires in the states
I feel so pity for those folks


The peace in the Baltic sea seems to be threatened now
there are some vessels who destroyed several cables on the bottom of the sea
they call it hybrid war which may be the new way to be bad
we really hope that it will stay
with these insidious attacks


When the world has been troubled, the politics seems to shift 
from democracy to the harder right wings  
One can see this in Europe and also in other parts of the world.
this is so bad for the poor
who usually gets hurt


I wonder what has happened in the Middle east
they discussed a ceasefire - but how long will it take
to come to a decision down there so the people can breathe out
I feel so pity for these folks
who suffer so much

Dear friends, missiles are raining down on Ukraine every day!!!
This is a fairy tale about a nine-year old girl and her little three-year old brother.
Today I heard a voice from Gaza: "NOW WE CAN HEAR THE BIRDS AGAIN!"
I really hope that the people in Ukraine soon can hear the birds!

that I submitted to the 2025 NPR Tiny Desk Contest.
This was a bit of an experiment. The audio was recorded using an iPhone 16 and then I used the Logic Pro stem spitter to separate the vocals and guitar so I could mix each track separately.
I still intend to have one more go at recording this using a better mic set up.

It is one of the RARE songs that I wrote " Lyrics first ".. I was sitting and thinking of what my wife was like when she was a toddler.. she thinks these lyrics are " perfect " LOL

I have scars all over my body.. and in places that you can't see with the naked eye. But I am still strong...although I may be becoming fragile like a singing wine glass.

It can't really always be said that I am a nice guy... but if i'm your friend.. I will be the one standing there when it's no longer convenient for anyone else to be lending you a hand.

Side Note :  My goal here is to upload my catalog to date... thats something I really want to do before this life is over.. ( Im feeling fine today ). Theres so many people out there like me.. who may not ever get the chance to share the creative spark within themselves ... the small ( or large ) contribution to the culture of humanity . This platform.. as others currently and in the past, brings the entire world together in one harmonious creative voice.
