Joris Voorn and Edwin Oosterwal's GREEN imprint has, in just seventeen releases, become a highly regarded source of modern and melodic electronica. Ripperton, Patrice Baumel and Stimming are just some of the names to have graced the label with their unique and wonderfully diverse music. GR18 displays a new musical direction for an artist who has inspired both our label heads since the 1990's. Green is proud to welcome Roland Klinkenberg with Construct #1.

Since the early 90's Roland has explored the farthest reaches of the progressive sound, crafting assonant ambiences with ease. Experimenting with dub delays and with a fresh, non-results driven outlook, the Dutchman's recent studio sessions have found him wandering in new musical directions. Using field recordings of his son Yani, Roland has created two beautiful dub-tinged tracks that have already won the hearts of Joris and Edwin and are now ready to gather your love.

The last single lifted from Noir's self-titled debut album is here and ready for the summer season 2015. Explode features a fantastic vocal hook by English Chris James wrapped in the catchy melodies and melancholic soundscapes Noir has become known for.
The song is about digging deep and finding that inner strength to make things happen when the pressure is so intense it feels like your head is about to explode.
The brand new Extended Club Mix has a chunkier, tighter and more bass-heavy production behind the emotional vocals than the original album version and its become perfect for those deephouse dancefloor's around the globe.
To accompany club plays we had the unstoppable and talented Olivier Giacomotto do his thing and as per usual he delivered a spot on tech house stomper with his signature sound and production skills in high gear.

This is the second release by Mark Deutsche & Musoé on Noir Music and a great follow up to their techno stomper “Push”. On “Express Yourself” the German guys have teamed up with Xenia Beliayeva who wrote and performed some lush vocals on top of the duo's hypnotic techno vibes. The outcome is an addictive journey that will have any techno crowd go crazy.

Both Andre Winter and Ernesto Ferreyra has poured their excellent production skills all over the release and made unique remixes of this beast. Andre Winter sticks to his solid techno vibes and his rock-solid sound known from Ideal Audio and Senso Sounds.
Ernesto Ferreyra cleverly turns the journey a lot deeper, layered and dubby spaced out.

Spanish artist Lopezhouse takes flight on Mude Tod - his dirtybird debut.  It’s a highly mixable techno track with dark melodic undertones perhaps referencing “Der Mude Tod” (The Weary Death.)  But the emotive melodic build throughout is anything but weary.  Its a huge track that has been getting incredible reactions all across Europe and North America when Claude has been dropping it toward the end of his sets.  

A post punk attitude - inspired perhaps by the likes of LCD Soundsystem and Depeche Mode - is further refined and mixed with a heavy kick drum and the sublties of old school Detroit techno.  Dirtybird is always stretching out and finding new sounds to champion and this is yet another surprising evolution from the trailblazing imprint.

Release Info: 
It was at the age of 8 that Jeremy, alias Several Definitions, developed his desire to be in the world of music by receiving drums for Christmas. He took lessons for more than 6 years, played several concerts for his friends and learned the basics of music.

After he received his first paycheck, Jeremy bought his first turntables. Growing up in the Hip Hop culture, he liked scratching with his friends but over time, Jeremy was more and more interested in faster and catchy beats like House music.
He was 18 years old when he made his first tracks. Active by nature, Jeremy headed to a mix between House and Electro sounds. He quickly associated with another Swiss DJ and formed the duo 'Radi & Keith'.

During this time, the two fellows move towards a more Deep kind of music with catchy sounds. They released several tracks on different labels such as Seven City music, Funktion Black, Vamos music, Housesession and others.

The moniker 'Several Definitions' was created in 2014, after Jeremy decided to continue a solo career with more Techno influences. According to him, loss, love and joy are the feelings that give him the greatest inspiration. His productions are intense and full of various sounds, all built on a line of percussions. Warm atmospheres, captivating melodies and catchy beats, the mix is just perfect.

With releases on Diynamic, Stil Vor Talent, Suara, and Underground Audio now under his belt, it's clear to see Several Definitions has a bright future

GNTN and Artche, hailing from Germany and the UK respectively, have both been bubbling up in the world of European techno for the past few years, collaborating most recently for an EP on Einmusika and individually releasing on labels like Stil Vor Talent, Suara, and Terminal M. Their debut EP for Yoshitoshi, Plastic Paranoia, brings together the dark, melodic sounds they are known for and incorporates elements of techno and deep house to create a swirling mesh of exhilarating sonic textures. The title track shines with its gorgeous vocal, proving that vocals and techno are not mutually exclusive. It possesses an absolutely stunning breakdown that is sure to have crowds singing along, and builds into a sweltering groove to keep feet moving. Expressions is all instrumental, interweaving a series of gorgeous synth melodies and pads that coalesce in an atmospheric and elaborate soundscape. It's a master class in maximalist production, each element shining through the multitude of layers happening at any given time. To finish things off, Spaniard Aaryon, who is no stranger to the label, gives us a deep, leftfield remix that showcases his propensity for abstract sound design. It's a subtle take on the original, but Aaryon gives it enough flavor that it feels fresh and unique. Altogether, the package displays a variety of stellar music that feels perfectly at home in the Yoshitoshi catalogue.
