We open the doors to the sound of Urbandawn, one of Hospital Record’s newest signings. His perfectly polished musicality has set label boss London Elektricity in a spin, who regularly features Urbandawn’s releases in his sets worldwide. His productions reflect the soul of Sao Paulo – vibrant, wide-awake and dance inducing. Urbandawn features on two tracks within the EP, a solo work ‘Messiah Complex’ and a paradisiacal collaboration with Bungle -‘Sacred Floor’ made for blue skies, beaches and sand between your toes.

There were many contenders for the runner-up slot but we finally settled on Law & Wheeler’s remix. A lovely re-imagining of the classic Boymerang / Doc Scott Blue Note sound with a great, up-to-date level of production that triggered all our favourite memories. This was a very, very close contender for overall winner, in fact we debated back and forth about it for almost a week. Of all the remixes, this one will stay in our bag for gigs the longest.

A natural homecoming forone of our favourite artists, Dispatch are proud to present the second album from Zero T; ‘Little Pieces’. Neatly forming over the past year, ‘Little Pieces’ marries all aspects of the Irishman’s diverse, accomplished sound, progressing from the elegant piano foray ‘Fortune Favours’ to amen strewn tech stepper ‘Dying Breed’, filling all the gaps in between. 

Collaborations with Beta 2 & Villem are backed by vocal features from DRS, Stamina and Steo; whose lyrics provided the album’s core inspiration on the stunning title track, supported by Friction (on BBC Radio 1) and DJ Hype (Kiss FM). 

Following his acclaimed 2015 album ‘Golden Section’, Zero T continues his thematic, visual imagery; the album artwork reflecting the mosaic of his influencesfrom over the years, carefully reconstructed into a cohesive body of work.A true demonstration of his artistry, Zero T encapsulates everything we love about this genrein ‘Little Pieces’.
