Well versed in musical composition and the craft of songwriting, I understand the primary colors of music and how to mix them using the hues of sound, silence, conflict, and resolution. For The Love Of Bands is an online magazine and indie music blog launched in 2016. The blog’s main focus is on independent music but also covers a variety of indie, upcoming and emerging bands and artists. The team consists of writers hailing from the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and beyond.

The blog generally concentrates on the discovery of new music, mainly in the Indie, Rock, Folk, Singer-Songwriter, Punk, Reggae, Acoustic, Alternative, Americana, Garage, Shoegaze/Dream Pop, Ska, Surf genres.

Besides indie music reviews, the blog also covers music industry tips, playlists, YouTube compilations, interviews and monthly(ish) Indie Music Contests.

CEMETERY GATES – founded in 2018 by songwriting duo Guitarist Mattias Fabricius and Vocalist Anton Sabah Ryberg. With a penchant for the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s metal scene with bands such as Black Sabbath, Danzig, Type O Negative, Tiamat, Amorphis, Pantera, Metallica and others, the bands sound bear the roots of retro heavy metal with a full hearted passion.  

In February 2019, the bands first single release “Old Misfortune Blues” saw the light, soon to be followed by “Till the End”, “And What Should Not Be” and “Hotel Albatross”. The first full length album “Through the Shadows of Fear” was released in August the same year. 

In 2020 they joined forces with multi-genre bass player Jens Hogsander and recorded the single “Killing Life For Years” during the raging of the Corona-pandemic. The single was soon followed by the album “Chernobyl (Re-Recorded)”, recorded in the band members respective homes during Christmas holidays 2020 and released in February 2021. The album has five songs on the theme of the tragic accident in Reactor 4 at the Chernobyl Nuclear Plant in the village of Pripyat in 1986.
