The Factors were founded in 2013 by SAKi (singer-songwriter) and Jody Tenku (guitarist/composer). Since then, they have performed throughout Japan and beyond.

Their style covers a wide range of genres and energy while utilizing acoustic and electric instruments. Rooted in the spirit of rebel music, their music resonates with the hearts of listeners without fear of being subversive.

The Factors have released four albums as well as two vinyl records produced by Kenji Jammer and K.U.D.O. They have also provided music for films and advertisements, and recently collaborated with Ayurveda therapist to produce personalized therapeutic music for various clients. 

Always aiming for bigger stages around the world, they performed at Japan’s biggest music festival, FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL ’17 and ’22 and toured South East Asia and The United States including appearance at BURNING MAN ’18.
