acolourfulghost is the pseudonym of Matthew Mclauchlan, a singer/songwriter from Sheffield in the UK. After a nine-year stint in the British Army, Matt embarked on an almost decade long musical journey eventually plying his trade as the frontman for Always to Tyrants and The Human Genome Project. His influences are wide and varied, but his passion for guitar and heart-wrenching lyrics are apparent and deeply embedded in his music. Legendary acts like The Beautiful South, The Rolling Stones, Ben Howard, and Damien Rice resemble some of his musical heroes. While balancing music, several jobs, and a young family, he has managed to scrape up enough money and free time to produce twelve singles to be released throughout 2020
