A work 12 months in the making, Adam Beyer continues his exciting series of collaborative EPs, teaming up with heavy-hitters Pig&Dan for an multi-faceted four-tracker.

Chances are up if you spied Adam Beyer in an airport departure lounge over the past 12 months, he’d have his head buried in his laptop, immersed in creating sound sketches. A long-time fan of collaborations, the Drumcode chief has been on an inspiring streak of form lately, teaming up with the likes of Mark Reeve, Dense & Pika and now Pig&Dan. The results have been compelling, to say the least. 

In trademark perfectionist Beyer style, the title track ‘Capsule’ – a shimmering slice of techno - involved “around 15 different versions” the track rigorously road tested by the Swede and featured in episodes of Drumcode Radio to test dancefloor reactions, before finally getting the sign off.  ‘In Love’ is a big room techno groover, driven by crisp drums and the kind of evocative vocal effect that’ll have hairs standing on ends. ‘Atmosfear’ is true to its name, centered on a menacing synth line and gritty percussion, its deep kicks and subterranean bass combining superbly to create a heady dancefloor brew. ‘We Are E’ is propelled by a catchy synth hook and a classic call-to-arms vocal, which tips its cap to the artists’ shared love of classic UK rave.

„If they arent´s yelling it isn´t Tobi!“ – so steht es auf Tobi Neumanns Facebook-Seite, und das können wir mal glatt bestätigen: Denn wenn Tobi an den Decks steht, jauchzt das Publikum vor Freude im Sekundentakt! Er bringt jede Meute in Sekunden zum Durchdrehen – so, als hätte er sein Leben lang nix anderes gemacht. Dabei ist er so etwas wie ein Spätzünder: Nachdem der gebürtige Münchner viele Jahre Werbejingles und Filmsoundtracks produziert hatte, verknallte er sich 1996 mit 33 Jahren Hals über Kopf bei der Berliner Love Parade in elektronische Musik. Und von da an gab es kein Halten mehr. Er machte sich in schwindelerregender Schnelligkeit einen Namen in der Techno- und House-Szene, produzierte Acts wie Chicks on Speed und Miss Kittin, ging mit eigenen Remixes in die Charts, und erspielte sich weltweit einen exzellenten Ruf als Top DJ – spätestens seit seiner Residency im legendären Münchner Club Ultraschall, wo er ab 1998 wöchentlich spielte und die nicht minder legendäre House-Party „Flokati House Club“ ins Leben rief, wo er als Booker, DJ, Promoter und Gastgeber zugleich fungierte. Außerdem wurde er 2002 in Sven Väths „Cocoon“-Imperium aufgenommen, und da darf ja nu auch nicht jeder rein! Seitdem legt er weltweit auf, und das in den wichtigsten Clubs und den besten Festivals, die die Szene so zu bieten hat. Sein musikalischer Style zeichnet sich dadurch aus, dass alles perfekt auf den Punkt reduziert ist, so dass die Tracks ihre volle Durchschlagskraft entfalten können. Und genau dieser sexy, deepe und treibende Funk in seiner Musik sorgt dafür, dass das Publikum regelmäßig am Rad dreht – im besten Sinn, versteht sich!

Greg Gow is one of Canada’s most accomplished electronic musical talents with a growing presence and impact at home and across the world. He regularly brings his unique sound and performance excellence to premium venues across four continents. The award-winning producer and DJ consistently pushes the boundaries of his art, with his hypnotic sound, a skillful hybrid of soulful Detroit techno, marinated in the diverse flavors of his Toronto roots. 

There are haunting echoes in Greg’s music to the sounds of legendary world techno pioneers Derrick May, Kevin Sanderson, and Carl Craig, all of whom are his musical mentors and his abiding inspiration. Greg’s track “The Bridge” was instrumental in re-launching May’s iconic Transmat label, and his releases on Sanderson’s KMS took the techno world by storm at a pivotal time. Multiple collaborations have spread his penetrating sound to other leading labels, including Radioslave’s Rekids/ RSPX, Steve Bug’s Poker Flat, Christian Smith’s Tronic, Adam Beyer’s Truesoul, and Dubfire’s SCI+TEC.

Since 2001, Greg’s own label, Restructured Recordings, has pushed deep, funky,
driving melodic techno from artists such as Mateo Murphy, Samuel L Session, Ian
O’Donovan, and of course, Greg himself. For over three years he has produced and distributed a well-received monthly podcast series. This Is Modulations, features recordings of live sets as well as studio mixes.

Beyond his studio prowess, Greg is one of Canada’s most respected techno
ambassadors, regularly playing alongside other behemoths of dance music. He has starred from coast to coast in each of Canada, the United States and Mexico; from the top to the tip of South America; and widely across Europe and Asia. Global highlights include The BPM Festival; Output NYC; Movement Detroit; Movement Torino, Italy; Watergate Berlin, Ushuala, Ibiza; Club Space Miami; Creamfields, Dubai; and Club Air Tokyo; among many more. 

On his home turf, Greg has a residency at Toronto’s Vertigo, highlights at Montreal’s Stereo, and appears frequently at many of Canada’s premiere festivals like Electric Island. Greg’s track I Knew Techno, released on his Restructured Recordings label, won the 2023 Juno Award in the Underground Dance Single Of The Year category. These prestigious awards presented annually by the Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences to recognize outstanding national achievements in Canada’s music industry. 

With the help of Avid Artist Agency Greg Gow is now planning a world tour to celebrate his 20 years of ever evolving success and spread his vibrant Techno sound.
