Formal Party was formed in October 2013, when Brothers Christopher and Aaron Johnston and best friend Josh Burnett stumbled upon something a little bigger than they had first anticipated. Alternative in your face blues rock and deep jingle jangles thrust the boys into an abyss of noise and experimentation. With some deep bass, funky beats, distorted guitars and rough and ready vocals. Formal Party was born. 

Formed in 2012 by Liam Clark and Lee Mannion, The Southpaws have been playing around the local music scene in Edinburgh with their modern take on Blues Rock n' Roll.
They were accepted early in their career to be one of the artists featured in the Verden Studios Demo Project 2012 where they recorded and released their first single, Caroline. It was during the project that they recruited Jonathan Burns to play bass and form the band into a three piece.
Afterwards, they recorded and released their self titled EP last year which is now available on most digital platforms such as iTunes, Spotify, and Bandcamp.

The Strypes are 4-piece rhythm and blues band hailing from Cavan, Ireland, formed in 2011 by Ross Farrelly (lead vocals/harmonica), Josh McClorey (lead guitar/vocals), Pete O'Hanlon (bass guitar/harmonica) and Evan Walsh (drums).

The group has spent the past 18 months launching their explosive R&B assault on the clubs and festivals of Ireland, the UK and Europe, viciously hammering out a no-nonsense blues repertoire drawing from the songbooks of Chuck Berry, Bo Diddley, Howlin' Wolf, Little Walter, Slim Harpo and more with the passion and venom of British blues groups such as Dr. Feelgood, The Yardbirds, The Rolling Stones and The Animals. 

Having already been met with critical acclaim from greats such as Jeff Beck and Paul Weller and been tipped by NME as the No. 1 new band to watch, it seems things can only get better for The Strypes.
