Marena Whitcher is a 26 year-old musician and performer from Zurich. Her excursions into every imaginable and inconceivable vocal dimension are eccentric and theatrical, counterpointed by her exploration of sinister and melancholy realms. 
The media call her "the figurehead of Switzerland’s young jazz-scene" and "the figurehead of originality and unrelenting love of experimentation." Our multiple prize-winner composes for her own ensembles: "Marena Whitcher’s Shady Midnight Orchestra," "Eclecta" and "Whitcher & Stocker." She can be encountered on various stages in Switzerland and abroad.

Madeleine Stewart is a Glasgow-based fiddler and pianist. In addition to performing with a variety of bands, she writes and teaches. Her music is a natural mixture of her American musical upbringing and her immersion in Glasgow's traditional music scene.
