In 2005, S-Virus (Techno, Underground, Acid, Industrial DJ since 1994 …) felt the urge to expand his musical horizons to genres, rhythms and sounds that he was unaccustomed to mixing. Neptunian8 is the name he gave to this new impetus as he moved into composing. In his skilful hands, a wealth of different sounds has shaped into a new musical universe.

The work and compositions of Neptunian8 reflect a variety of musical influences: Electronica, IDM, Ambient, Illbient, XP, Nu-Jazz, to name a few, plus narrative music (film and other sound tracks), Industrial and more …

In 2007, Neptunian8 joined the crew of {ambivalence}recordz to explore and experiment new sound trips with the Brussels label.

In 2008, composing and sound-design quickly became his favourite endeavours -- today, alone or in a team, he has created the soundtracks of a number of short films, trailers, teasers and others,including "Rhum Salé" and "Grise Mine" by Remi Vandenitte, "Artificial Paradise, Inc." by J-P Frenay, "Contre, tout contre" and "P.E.F.A.L.E." by Yoann Stehr, "Vertical-Sailling Greenland"  by S.Paoli, "Le Lièvre Court Plus Vite" by M.Castiaux, "FIGURES" by M. Keleti…

Several new projects saw the light. Including an original soundtrack made in collaboration with Don Quishoote and Subskan for Bastien Lecouffe's graphic novel book "Memories of Retrocity". Sound decoration for a theater play "L'Hypothèse Du Chaos" and "Le Monde du Rien".His solo album "Scyphozoa" in november 2011 and soundtrack of a short movie "FIGURES" 2013...Mastering and Mixing/Arrangement For differents Artists...Second Solo Album Chrysiridia on 2017 and Pareilodia on 2020...
