A slow burning anthem: the holy grail of all producers. A tune that keeps building and building momentum gradually and naturally... To the point crowds singing the bassline back when you drop it.

This is the case with Gregor Tresher’s ‘Goliath’. Released February 2015 on Bedrock, it’s been smouldering ever since. The Frankfurt DJ considers it up there with ‘A Thousand Nights’ and ‘About A Good Place’ as one of his most successful tunes in his career so far; its distinctive hooky bass riff capturing moments and imaginations as more and more DJs exploited its unifying charm.

Over two years later, Gregor and Bedrock present two precision-tailored remixes that add to the ‘Goliath’ story. Alan Fitzpatrick, a man who doesn’t need much of an introduction to fans of mordern Techno, subverts the original in a remarkable way. Allowing himself to be taken in a whole new direction by the pads, a new topline and is added to create an entirely new experience that still instantly brings home the original tones and feels of ‘Goliath’.

French techno OG Emmanuel Top, a man whose records inspired Gregor to produce in the first place, takes the lead with a 10 minute monolith that doesn’t even hint at the riff for the first four minutes. Focusing on the machine funk rhythm of the original and turning it inside out, Top lets it sizzle for as long as possible before suddenly dropping the full musical scope of ‘Goliath’ on us mid way.

Remixes that build on the original and take it to entirely new pastures: The momentum continues.

In the trend-driven universe of electronic dance music, Gregor Tresher is the rare artist who transcends such cycles. His secret? A relentless focus on melody and timbre, timeless musical elements that other producers often undervalue. Just as a painting or a photograph appears to move if one stares at it long enough, close listening to the stratified grooves and melodies in Tresher's music reveals an organic universe of shifting sound.

Apostron X is more than just a DJ name – it is a project that connects spirituality and electronic music.
 
Back in the early 90s, Frank – the mind behind Apostron X – was part of the very first wave of electronic club culture in Germany.
From 1990 to 1995, he hosted and curated influential radio shows like “Dancefloor” and “P.U.M.P. – Pure Unlimited Music Power”, during a time when techno was still in its infancy.
 
During this groundbreaking era, he interviewed pioneers such as SNAP, Sven Väth, DJ DAG, DJ ATA, and Die Fantastischen Vier, while also featuring record labels like Delirium Records.

Through these shows, he helped bring electronic music from the underground into the public spotlight and contributed to building a culture that still resonates today.
 
Today, Frank continues this journey as both DJ and founder of Sacred Groove – a unique format where church and club culture merge.
 
Sacred Groove is more than an event:
It is a spiritual experience, a place where bass and gospel, light and shadow, community and transcendence come together.
The music moves between powerful techno, gospel-inspired house tracks, and atmospheric ambient soundscapes – always with one purpose: to unite people through music.
