Their salamander-like ability to switch styles from thrashing euro-punk to folk rumba and reggae ska has put them on stages with a vast array of big bands—from Flogging Molly to Inspektah Dek to The Misfits to Less Than Jake.

Askultura’s Summer 2016 EP 'It's Like Jazz?', their fourth release, promises to be a thumping, blistering collection of punk, mambo, reggae, and folk sounds. They are playing aboard Flogging Molly’s Salty Dog Cruise in March 2017. The Askultura Vandal Squad (AVS) is a real thing.
