Everything’s Changed

This finale takes us back to the arctic where the narrator witnesses the final scenes of the tragedy. I've tried to inject some optimism into the chorus chords in the hope that the narrator really has learned from his late friends story. 
I love the graphic, it's taken from the front cover of the Penny Royal edition of the book, illustrated by Barry Moser.

Cars hit the brakes for to see me baked.
So I hid behind a tree. 

Then a psychedelic squirrel came up to me.
And he looked me in the eye. 
He shook his little head, and then he said,
"Dude, you are really high."

So I ran back to my house again.
And I didn’t know what to do,
I went to the kitchen 'cause my belly was itchin’
For some junky no-good food.

I decided to cook three hot dogs
And I smothered them with Nutella.
My Mom, she caught me in the act.
She said, “What’s going on there, fella.”

The kitchen was a mess, my Mom was mad.
So I just went to sleep.
That’s the last time I smoked pot my friends.

I started playing gigs in 1968,  I believe I was in the eight grade. It was only junior high school dances but at the time, it was electrifying. In 1964, I remember watching "The Ed Sullivan Show" and seeing the Beatles perform live and they pretty much jump started my interest in music, Long hair, guitars and Beatle boots, very cool, still cool. I have always enjoyed good harmony parts and George's slide work has always inspired me. Over the years like so many others, I’ve played concerts, night clubs, special events, coffee houses, bars and such. Also toured the U.S. in 76. Now it's all about writing, recording, having some fun and being a part of the Sound Cloud community. Yeah man! 
Debut Album called “ Seafoam” released 2018 at Bandcamp, iTunes, Amazon and CD Baby.


Some of my fav producers would be Gary Katz, Jeff Lynne, Sir George Martin, Eddie Kramer and Mark Hudson. As far as guitar players, great hooks from Keith Richards, best tone Eric Clapton, best feel SRV! Best slide guitar George Harrison, Sonny Landreth, Derek Trucks and Ry Cooder. Most creative exploration Eric Johnson. The most original and always inspiring the GOAT Mr. Jeff Beck, he is amazing. Walter Becker had the cool factor and the Mu chords as well as wrote such interesting lyrics.
