As summer fast approaches, Saved Records turn up the heat with a blistering new track from Dee Montero. The Northern Irishman locks into an energetic groove and rides a relentless rhythm with the unstoppable “Full Body.” Rapid-fire, funky drum patterns set the tone right from the off before a fully loaded and tropical bassline thumps in and sweeps the track off with unrestrained momentum. The clammy, dubby atmosphere interplays with faint melodies to create a peak-time bomb that is as fierce as it is addictive.

Ex-LFO member Gez Varley aka G-Man turns “Full Body” on its head with his remix on the flip. The Warp veteran takes us into deliciously deep territory, drenching his remix in stretched pads, warms synths and textured sonics. There is a vintage sheen projected throughout the track which flows with a natural and organic sincerity.

London star Alexis Raphael returns to Hot Creations with the dance floor killer It’s Kinda Jazzy, with fine French exports Dan Ghenacia and Chris Carrier teaming up to deliver the remix with electrifying results.
Title track It’s Kinda Jazzy is an ultimate peak time weapon. Alexis explains how it’s “a real melting pot of different musical influences that have inspired me over the years. There's everything from Hip-Hop to 90's UK House and Garage, Jungle/Drum and Bass, upfront House and Techno and, of course, Jazz.” On the flip Dan Ghenacia and Chris Carrier deliver a solid remix that keeps the pace, changing gear through trippy turns. Last up, second original track Strip Off lays down the swing with sultry vocal slices.

An influential player on the London scene, Alexis Raphael earned his stripes across the pirate radio stations of North and East London during the late 90s and early 00s and went on to hold residencies at legendary London clubs The Cross and Bagley’s. His first release Spaceship was picked up by Hot Creations sub-label Hot Waves in 2011. Since then, he’s had numerous releases and remixes on labels including Jackathon Jams, Of Unsound Mind, Avotre and Get Physical and not forgetting his anthem, I Know.

Dan Ghenacia is the undisputed kingpin of the Paris underground scene, having founded and ran Freak N’Chic for seven years and now one of the three creative minds behind new label and b2b2b DJ outfit Apollonia. Chris Carrier is another heavy-weight from the French underground scene. Together they have delivered some recent killer EP’s on Appolonia, Music For Freaks and Adult Only.

Long-time German house label Kittball welcome Italian pair The Deepshakerz for two more of their effective dance floor detonators.
This duo of Domy Berardino and Mirco Sonatore are real musical magpies who draw from old school, new school, Chicago, afro, vocal and tech styles to cook up their high impact sounds. They are favoured by DJs like Luciano, Dubfire and Loco Dice and land on highly visible labels like Saved and Snatch! amongst many others.
Opener ‘Caipirinha’ is as steamy and tropical as it sounds thanks to the well-treated female vocal line that adds fiery soul up top. The clattering drums and hits are perfectly raw and bristling and sure to pump up the energy levels on any dance floor.
Showing off another side to their sound is the deliciously deep and dynamic ‘Faded Rainbow.’ With another anthemic vocal drifting up top, warm drums and crisp percussion carve out a serious groove below. Always surprising us with their A&R skills, Hot Creations are back with another outstanding release, this time from rising star Greg Pidcock, who is soon to release his debut album on the label. Blame Game is fresh and beautifully crafted with deep vocals and warm melodies, building effortlessly into sonic bliss. On remix duty, Minus favourite Hobo picks up the pace to deliver two on point reworks aimed steadily at the dance floor. A formally trained artist, Greg received his BFA in Intermedia & Cyberarts when he was 20. Introduced to Jamie Jones and Lee Foss in 2012, Pidcock was quickly signed to the label and has spent the last year working on his debut album. Studying in Montreal he soon became the Creative Director at Montreals legendary Cherry nightclub, DJing alongside legends. This led to the formation of Bad Pony Records with Tone Depth of Bedrock fame - a process, which firmly cemented his goals of creating music and art. Currently the resident DJ at the renowned Velvet Nightclub in Montreal and working with Turkish composer, Mercan Dede, as a sound engineer, Greg Pidcock is about to explode onto the international scene with his blend of passionate, sexy, heavy house. Member of the Minus family since 2007, Joel Boychuk aka Hobo very much holds his own identity. With an early Detroit influence he has explored his own form of techno expressionism: sometimes dark and abstract, others more sample heavy and groove based. With a lot of time spent on his recently released album Iron Triangle, Hobo now plans to focus on DJing after being an almost exclusively live performer for 6 years. Both original and remix have been featured heavily in Jamies recent sets..
