Been a musician a long time, played guitar in a few bands, played bass in a hot country band, mostly self-taught tutored by hundreds, learned theory and reading, knows the rules and breaks them often. Old enough to know and too old to care, Jian survived stage 4 cancer and a stroke which led him to reteach himself everything. He started songwriting seriously in 2001 with the tune "How Can You Sleep" recorded with the band Pagasys in 2007. Since then he's played small venues as a soloist and recording on his own. Jian has a YouTube channel that contains an extensive archive of his work and his performances on the work of other artists.
