This was the first edit of my track Discover, which eventually took on a whole different feel. You can hear the similarities, though, especially in that harp sound, which is a plucked piano string. There’s a good minute at the beginning to just appreciate the beauty that is a chord pluck progression from Sylenth.

Mark Digital and Ciree light up the night sky with autumn’s “Nocturnal Sun”. The original is a progressive powerhouse with pulsating basslines, authenticated with deep kick drums, and uplifting melodies that set the tone of this dance club invigorator. Mark Digital embellishes “Nocturnal Sun” with his own uplifting denominations. Signature reverberating basslines saturated with inspiring, arpeggiated leads and pads, paint the atramentous skies with the incandescent glow of a setting sun. As the audible journey unfolds, Fiben delivers an ornate rendering that interweaves retro progressive vibes and the melodic nature of the original into the colorful quilt of “Nocturnal Sun.” Progressive artisan, Narel, molds the hypnotic elements of trance into a spiraling vestige of a deepened darkness. Beautiful arps float amongst the obscure backdrop, providing the melodic ornamentation. Mind Of One also returns to provide a club-oriented instrumentation. Reflecting the unsettling times we live in, ‘Deep State’ has moments of light and dark. It’s a showcase of Grum’s ability to craft pitch-black progressive and immersive vocal pop. The 10-track album is a refined take on the current state of progressive trance.

With tinges of classic trance and 90’s rave culture across the record, Grum embraces vintage dance floor ideas in a thoroughly modern way.
