Thorgerdur is an Icelandic DJ & producer based in Oslo. Starting out as a classical pianist who later turned singer-songwriter, she had a versatile musical background when she started DJing late 2014. 

Being introduced to house and techno music through frequent visits to Kaffibarinn in Reykjavik, her interest only grew when she moved to Oslo in 2013 and got introduced to the Oslo-underground scene. She had her first gig in 2015 and was playing at some of Oslo's most respected underground clubs less than a year later. Her DJing is already taking her places around the world, to places like Reykjavik, Tromsø, Lisbon, Paris, New York, Berlin, Göteborg, Stockholm, Darmstadt, Copenhagen and London.

Having a unique ability to curate groovy, mysterious and engaging sets she's now a resident for Oslo based collective Det Gode Selskab, Missing Link in Darmstadt, New Planet and Blossy, her own label and concept Blossy, which she runs together her partner A:G. They had their their first release out June 2018, followed up with a track a recent VA release on mari.te's label On Sight Series, OSS#2, and now she has another collaboration coming out on Luke Eargoggle's label, Stilleben 062.   

What triggers her when it comes to electronic music is warmth, mystique and interesting story-telling melodies that combined in a set create a journey that is hard to forget. She loves travelling through different kinds of styles, exploring how they together create an effortless flow, focusing on the vibe rather than any style.

An emblematic artist of the Palestinian underground scene, SAMA’ is one of the first DJs and electronic music producers to emerge from the region. Her sound, an original punchy kind of techno, is dry and musical all at once and has quickly made its way across Europe and beyond.
 
SAMA, meaning ‘sky’ in Arabic, started mixing in 2006 in parties around Ramallah, Palestine. Several years later she started producing her own music and expanding her interest in synthesis in 2010, with a focus on techno, house, and other deeper sub-genres of electronic music.
 
The artist graduated from the United Kingdom with a BSc in Audio Engineering and Music Production, then moved to Cairo where she worked as a sound designer for film, became a music producer and then instructor. SAMA’ now runs her own Audio Engineering & Sound Design company working across films and documentaries in the Middle East. In 2017, she was selected as a Laureate by the French Institute, and during that time attended a residency at the International City of Arts in Paris. SAMA’ also runs a publishing company called Awyav, representing independent artists from the Arab world.
 
In late 2018, SAMA’s Boiler Room performance and the associated documentary about the scene in Palestine went viral and more and more people are seeing that music has no boundaries. SAMA’ was recently listed in SheSaid.So’s Alternative Power 100 List, and plays a high-profile set at Ibiza’s World Heritage Site of Dalt Vila for the International Music Summit in late May. She is currently working on a studio album.

Born and breed in Spain, P.E.A.R.L. was first introduced to electronic music through the sounds
of the late 90s and early 2000s, which have played a foundational role in shaping his artistic
identity. Immersing himself in club culture during his teenage years, he developed a deep
connection to the raw energy of Techno music, particularly influenced by the sounds emerging
from the UK and Spain.

In 2012, he moves to Berlin, and a year later, he established his own label, Falling Ethics
Records. Initially a platform for his own work, the label has expanded to showcase a diverse
range of artists, contributing to the global Techno community. Falling Ethics is also known for
its distinctive visual aesthetic and authenticity that has helped to establish itself as a reference
point in the independent scene.

As a performer, P.E.A.R.L. brings quality to the DJ booth: His approach is less about spectacle
and more about crafting moments with love and deeply personal. There’s intentionality in how
he guides the dancefloor, balancing tension with release in a very eclectic way. It’s this
unpretentious yet deliberate artistry that has earned him a quiet respect within the global
Techno community, not as a figure chasing trends, but as someone who understands our culture.
