Well, from what I remember, you probably can't really remember but in saying that I can't really remember either and if I can't remember that you can't remember we must try to remember to ask someone else if they remember but we will probably forget to remember that and even if we didn't forget to remember they probably wouldn't remember anyway. North London based band This is Laura is centred around 22-year-olds Kitty Dalton and Sarah Gavin, This is Laura are a velvet-glove take on gypsy folk and brittle blues, a strikingly original third way between the femme grit of PJ Harvey and the cats-cradle perplexities of CocoRosie and A Hawk And A Hacksaw. They can reduce unsuspected men and women to tears by dint of their sea-shanty, tinderbox of soul-fuelled delights.

After releasing a critically acclaimed album and touring the world as a live act the Filthy Dukes then went underground. Disenchanted with the music scene they decided to go back to their roots as record collectors, thirsty to reignite their passion for house & techno. 
 
On a quest to discover the best dance floors, record shops and secret parties they have spent the last year creating a new sound. 

Taking inspiration from the music they discovered and having no regard for genre or labels a new chapter has began. Smarter, more honest and more exciting.

Filthy Dukes also released Beat The Break on the new 'Southern Fried and Tested' compilation with support from Annie Mac, Rob Da Bank, Brodinski, Boy 8 Bit to name a few. 

They have recently produced remixes for The 2 Bears, Justin Robertson and Daniel Avery new single on Gomma, James Welsh on the 'join Our Club' label and Native Tounge.

Filthy Dukes are first and foremost djs who know how to work any dancefloor, with huge knowledge and vast record collections, their left field house and techno sets have been igniting dancefloors in Europe's most discerning clubs for years.

DJ’s, Producers and label owners, Andy Riley and Laurence Ritchie (AKA Inland Knights) have created a brand name that most House heads have heard of.  Whether you like it deep , tech or more funky – when you think about Drop Music or Inland Knights a certain style of House comes to mind that is uniquely their own. Andy and Laurence’s reach is global, and their label’s continue to produce some of the finest House music 15 years after they started back in the UK, within Nottingham's party scene.

Andy and Laurence  met in ’93 and cut their teeth Dj’ing for Smokescreen, the renegade sound system from which they drew their early inspiration. Smokescreen consisted of dj’s, lighting people, sound people, a truck, a P.A, a generator and general helpers. Old warehouses, woodland, fields, quarries and houses were utilized with the sole intention of having a good time…. for free! By the mid 90’s smokescreen could guarantee a crowd of hundreds in attendance at their parties(which were most weekends), and their club nights became local institutions that ran for years with packed dancefloors. Into their 21st year, Smokescreen are still going strong and are still hosting quality club nights and parties in and around the Midlands.

By ’98 Laurence and Andy had made the inevitable step into production and the same year their fledgling label, Drop Music, was born. With the release of ‘Inland Knights vol 1’ , Riley and Ritchie undertook a busy schedule to write tracks for Drop  (almost all of the early output was Inland knights, despite many monikers). Drop Music has gone on to become one of the most highly regarded House labels in recent years (with 80 plus releases to date), and Inland Knights have gone on to become one of the most respected and prolific production outfits in the House community, carving a unique and distinctive House sound, and regularly taking on remix and Ep duties for fellow labels and producers. Highlights include the acclaimed ‘Mohammed Ali’ remix for Faithless on Cheeky Records, CD compilations and remixes for NRK and Om Records, three Ep's on 2020 Vision, Inland Knights first full length album entitled ‘Creative Spaces’, and more recently, Inland Knights album to mark 10 years of Drop Music entitled ‘Dust till Dawn’, not to mention countless Ep's on other labels over the years and a 30-minute live mix on Radio 1’s ‘Essential Selection’ show. More recently, the pair released 'Inland Bytes', a retrospective look at Inland Knights career so far.

Currently, as well as remix, production and label commitments, the pair maintain a busy international Dj schedule which takes them further and further afield as their reputation grows. Bookings have included regular slots at UK clubbing institutions such as Fabric, The End, The Egg, The Cross, Turnmills, Shindig, Back 2 Basics,  Sanky's, Chibuku Shake Shake, Ministry Of Sound, Cargo, Déjà Vu, The Arches and The Sub Club in Scotland, as well as smaller more intimate venues nationwide. Countless international trips have seen them tour the Globe. Most weekends Inland Knights can be found DJ'ing up and down the UK or Europe with regular international tours a permanent fixture in their Diaries.

Blame is one of the most creative producers on the drum & bass scene, an accolade hard won over years of consistently breaking musical boundaries in an attempt to bring true innovation to the music that he loves.

It all began when Blame started to create tracks that would be synonymous with the early hardcore scene. Music Takes You, a project for the Moving Shadow label, saw him break into the UK charts and become number one in the dance chart; many books charting the early days of dance music have since credited this tune as a seminal moment in what was to soon become drum & bass.

After experiencing such early chart success, Blame decided to focus on his musical direction, and received critical acclaim for tunes such as Planet Neptune, also released on Moving Shadow. Soon after Blame joined LTJ Bukem’s Good Looking Records, and it was here that he began to try out more new sounds, quickly becoming one of the labels most important artists. Blame also mixed the second in the famous Logical Progression compilation series. He not only made waves with innovative, space-age tunes such as Visions Of Mars and Alpha:7, but he also became one of Good Looking’s best DJs, touring the world with LTJ Bukem.

The next step was for Blame to set up his own label, 720 Degrees and since then has used the label as a platform for ground breaking drum & bass, including Two Revolutions, a compilation album that showcased the labels increasingly dancefloor-oriented sound. It was a direction in which Blame’s own music was heading.

Blame’s continually prolific recording schedule has lead to successful releases on Hospital Records, Metalheadz and Charge Recordings, alongside which Blame also launched a brand new project simply named Blame Music, focussing on a cinematic, experimental and almost film soundtrack style sound. The first release Hiro caused a massive stir throughout the drum & bass club scene.

Fast forwarding to 2008, Blame released Stay Forever, a beautiful blend of energetic breakbeats and soaring string sections that instantly caught the attention of Radio 1 DJs Zane Lowe, Pete Tong, Trevor Nelson, Colin Murray, Fabio, Rob Da Bank, Ras Kwame and Annie Mac. The Stay Forever vocal mix featuring Selah went straight onto the BBC 1Xtra daytime A playlist with massive support from Mistajam.

The start to 2009 was incredible. Blame & Selah's follow up Because Of You became Zane Lowe's Hottest Record In The World and Sara Cox's Single Of The Week. It was also daytime playlisted on BBC Radio 1 and 1 Xtra, receiving huge dj support from across the board.

More recently Blame released his album entitled "The Music" and has delivered some legendary remixes, adding his unique touch to crossover chart hits including: David Guetta & Kelly Rowland’s UK no.1 When Love Takes Over; the top three charting Show Me Love from Steve Angello & Laidback Luke feat. Robin S; Example’s first UK hit Watch The Sun Come Up and Alesha Dixon’s pop smash Let’s Get Excited. Blame also remixed Getting Over You by David Guetta, Chris Willis, Fergie and LMFAO. 

Blame's recent remixes include Raze's house classic "Break 4 Love", Stooshe's "Betty Woz Gone", Sway's "Level Up" and Skepta's "Make Peace Not War" and is currently working on some very exciting new projects.

Rory C bought his first turntables at the tender age of 13. After perfecting his beat mixing skills in the bedroom and playing at friends parties, he started DJ'ing at University in Bristol. This led to DJ'ing at Bristol bars, more private parties, many seasons at The Harbour Bar in Corfu and word-of-mouth recommendations for private parties and events.He now plays at some of the hottest bars and clubs in London and overseas, entertaining the likes of Kate Moss and Richard Hammond.

When not DJ'ing for RJCC Events' busy schedule of 18th, 21st, 30th, 40th and 50th Parties and corporate events, Rory C lives in Oxford with sets at Wahoo, Baby Love, Baby Simple, Camera, No.9 Nightclub and nightclubs internationally. He has played at Raffles in London, many top student club nights as well as for School Proms, University College Balls and Corporate Events such as Ledbury Hunt Ball and Silverstone Grand Prix.

Silver Story are a mid-twenties, established rock band from St. Helens. The band was formed in 2008 by original members Alex McCabe and drummer Gaz Haigh while Alex studied at nearby Liverpool hope university. Taking influence from a pool of genres Silver Story's music has taken on a sound which is organic and intriguing, yet the songs leave you with the feeling that you have been listening to them for years. Front man and songwriter Alex McCabe takes influence ranging from bands like Foo Fighters, Red hot Chilli Peppers, Nirvana and Blink 182 to artists such as Bob Marley and The Beatles.
The band have released three EP's, 'soulmate:ELIMINATE' which was released in 2009 on the Animal Farm Label , along with  'Wake Up' in 2011 and 'Art & Vandals' in 2012 which the band self released.


Silver Story has over 30,000 combined fans on social media platforms Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, a number which is rising daily. If the band's recent rave reviews are anything to go by then they are most likely one of the next bands to create a storm on the British rock scene.
