With her, Sainte Chanèle, it often sings, with him, Léo Larbi, not that much. With her there was Catherine Ringer, witches and Supertramp, with him there was hip-hop, flourish counterpoint and Underground Resistance. With them, Conversation, happen the bizarre, the PtiChat, the dark and the sparkling. 

A Conversation that goes from the subdued light of an inner dialogue, in an early morning after, to the stroboscope of a seething club, peak time. 

Him and her: it’s a Conversation from the brain to the hips, from the hips to the brain. It’s a Conversation from her to him and him to her and, most of all, from them to us.
 
They jubilate, it’s obvious, and their compelling joy of playing spreads to the dancefloor. A Conversation in which we can’t decide who follows who, him and her become distinct but indiscernible.

Conversation digs deep in the past to discover forgotten nuggets as much as canvasses the present, always on the lookout for the last release. For them musical genres are not stops, but milestones, thresholds, to explore, mix, and go beyond: voices emerge from dark waves and join the ghetto grooves from Chicago, the stern hi hats from Berlin streak the warm roundness of a disco bass, outlandish melodies disorient breakbeat rhythmic, synthetic adjoins organic...

Conversation speaks to us, tells us, letting our dance steps inventing our stories and meanings.

Herr.Ektor is a multidisciplinary artist (music, writing, photography...) and LGBTQIA+ activist who lives and works in Berlin. Shaped by poetry and D.I.Y culture, his interest in music, and more specifically electronic and alternative scenes, led him to become a DJ and co-organise the infamous queer parties Electrofuckdiscosuicideparty (Collectif Blogvipère 2008-2015). His sets are musical journeys through several musical genres, influenced by the madness and dark wave universe of the 80s, 90s techno, the electroclash scene, and Dark Disco.

Wie war dein Weg bisher?
Ich bin seit 2015 leidenschaftliche Raverin und habe schon immer ein besonderes Augenmerk auf die Künstler:innen hinter der Musik gelegt. Mich hat von Anfang an fasziniert, was DJs an den Decks erschaffen können. Irgendwann habe ich mir dann selbst Equipment für zuhause besorgt – und seitdem verbringe ich regelmäßig stundenlange Sessions damit, neue Sounds auszuprobieren.
Mein erster richtiger Auftritt war das Opening Set auf dem Hochzeitsrave sehr guter Freunde – ein unvergesslicher Moment. Danach kam die erste Podcast-Anfrage, und Set um Set habe ich zu meinem eigenen Sound gefunden. Angefangen habe ich mit klassischem Techno, inzwischen liebe ich die Fusion aus verschiedenen Subgenres von Techno und Psytrance und baue mir so meine eigenen kleinen Soundwelten. Am liebsten spiele ich auf kleineren, privaten Raves von Freund:innen, wo die Stimmung familiär und frei ist.

Was ist dir an einem Safespace wichtig?
Ein Safespace bedeutet für mich, dass jede Person sie selbst sein darf, ohne bewertet oder übergangen zu werden. Mir ist wichtig, dass wir aufmerksam miteinander umgehen, die Grenzen anderer respektieren und unsere eigenen klar benennen können.

Möchtest du gerne der Welt noch was sagen oder mitgeben?
Seid nett zueinander - du weißt nie welchen Sturm jemand gerade durchlebt.

SCI+TEC continues its legacy of showcasing cutting-edge techno with Formula VI, the latest installment in the label's revered sampler series. This four-track compilation brings together an international roster of producers, each channeling profound personal experiences into peak-time techno that resonates far beyond the dancefloor.

"Controll" marks a profoundly emotional milestone for Matteo Floris. For years, Mr. Bizz was the creative partnership of two brothers, but following the passing of his brother Fabrizio, this becomes Matteo's first solo production for SCI+TEC. Created in connection with his brother's memory, every sound choice carries his presence. The track channels grief into the signature dark patterns and heavy beats that defined their collaborative work, transforming personal loss into a powerful techno statement that honors their shared musical journey.
