Alternative indie rock from the land of snow

<p>recrea33 aka bob wardrobe was one half of recreational research (the other erstwhile member being <a href="http://soundcloud.com/puffingbillyarchibald">puffingbillyarchibald</a> aka mr matherson). of course there were other collaborators, who shall remain nameless.....
after matherson's cult acid rock band 'citizen wayne' imploded in the summer of 95 and wardrobe moved back down south, mad as a bag of frogs, having loved and lost in manchester, recreational research began to crystalize in an unlikely squat in pimlico. they had a tascam 4 track, an alesis hr-16 drum machine, a classic dod fx90 delay pedal, and a trusty roland jx-3p.
in the autumn of 97, after wardrobe returned, energised from an enlightening 3 month stint in the graveyard slot at pirate station, radio tonka(104.7, blauwe aanslag, den haag) clutching a cd full of radium software and a bag full of ambient drum &amp; bass in one hand, and an mc-303 in the other, the operation shifted to the computer...
using recrea33's extensive charity shop vinyl collection rrf carved out a mashtastic niche for the 'and finally' tune. bells rung and phones were ringing...but no-one was home...hiho.
