Definition: A chaotic neutral character is an individualist who follows their own heart and generally shirks rules and traditions. Although chaotic neutral characters promote the ideals of freedom, it is their own freedom that comes first; good and evil come second to their need to be free. Examples of this alignment include many barbarians and rogues, and some bards.

I believe in a deterministic universe. This means that free will is a complex yet enduring illusion. No good, no evil. Just people and their perspectives who are trying to do one thing that is weighted by the infinite complexity of our biology and our circumstance. This results in the endless waxing and waning between our countless motivations and our desire to live without pain and thus to find inner peace. 

Music and sound itself allow us to feel a multitude of different ways. Joy and sadness, loss and hope, anxiety and peace. Many dualities and everything in between.

We can manipulate music to match our mood, to change it, or to let it take us on a journey in which we can lose ourselves or maybe even find ourselves. This is why we seek it, as it has the power to shape our experience.

Whether it takes us to a deeper place or a whimsical place. A Chaotic place or a Neutral place, it is there for us to enjoy. So, enjoy.
